Strangest/funniest thing you've seen in 12

What are some of the strangest/funniest moments you've had in this game? I'm not trying to start a complaint thread, it can be anything at all...just something that made you scratch your head and say WTF? or gave you a good laugh for whatever reason.

The other day in offline dynasty I was throwing a pass on a slant to a receiver who had his man beat by 10 feet or so, he had a clear lead on him so I threw a bullet pass to him that lead him perfectly. Then the DB decides that he has had enough of this gravity business so he just says, "f--- your sh-- Isaac Newton" and bends the field of spacetime around him and just instantly out of nowhere accelerates into the air towards the ball at 3x the speed he had been running, defying all laws of motion and the universe. He doesn't even actually jump, his character just moves three dimensionally through space toward the ball and picks it off, returning it for 6.

I was in disbelief, I must have watched the replay 5 times. As shocked as I was though, I did have a good laugh once I got over the pick.

Probably one of the 300 times the ball hit my receiver directly in the head or went right past him as he kept running without even looking back or making an attempt to catch the ball. It's totally hilarious. Nice job, EA Sports. Darn jokesters....

When three members of my OD including the commish couldn't sign into the OD and now we are stalemated until the patch drops.

Hilarious. Was rolling on the floor laughing.

Watching my high 80 Left and Right tackles on Virginia Tech getting beat by lowend 70 rated Def ends on Ohio,the funny thing is sometimes they stand there and block no1.Why Ohio b/c I'm testing the "In game custom sounds" figuring it would be easy to score,guess the joke was on me

I was playing a game the other night. think it was mich vs heck i can't remember but anyway i wish i would have took a pic of "Elastic Man"
LOL the reason is after the qb threw the ball, and at first i thought i might have overthrown the wr but nope he streched out his arms,and everything looks fine, until it almost touched his hands, then it looked like it was 2 scenes from a movie but you could see where the "CATCH" animation started thats when the wr arms seemed to get "Longer" i showed my wife she was the one that came up with the superhero name....LOL. Anyone every seen this or anything???

I block a PAT, my CB picks it up and houses it. Unfortunately there is a clipping called on one of my guys. My opponent accepts. I am given the ball at his 1 yard line. I score, but instead of 2 points I get 6. After kicking a PAT of my own I am then forced to kick the ball off. It was so weird.

I hate how this thread immediately turned into a complaint thread.

Two funny things that happened to me in the same online game last night:


First one is somewhat standard and I'm sure alot of you have seen it, but it's where there are like 4+ fumbles on the same play. I was on offense, I fumbled, the D picks it up fumbles, rinse, repeat.

The other one was far more unique, I was on offense and ran a slant pass. The receiver had a very slight lead on the DB and it looked to be a catch only to have the field flip and an INT to be mentioned by the annnouncers, once the field flipped like when you pick it off it immediately flipped again and my receiver had the ball and took it for a TD. It's like the DB warped into position to pick it but my receiver stripped it from him in one motion it was cool.

I'm in an online Dynasty as Southern Cal. I've been recruiting a kid now for 10 weeks, who is #6 on the SPARQ 100 and apparently I'm the only one who's called him. 2/3rds of the way through the season and one of the Top 10 prospects is almost completely ignored by the humans and the AI. It's not like his stats are bad either, he looks like a Desean Jackson clone.

This happened to me last night.

CPU WR ran to the sidelines, QB throws it his way, WR goes into the "sideline catch and fall" animation. Well, I had a DB literally two steps away and he could not tackle the guy while he was "falling". The WR actually just kind of stopped mid-way in some weird Matrix/Circ de Soleil move. DB sorta just circled him for 2 to 3 seconds until he fell.

The funny part is he was about 2 yards inbounds, so he barely touched the sideline.


Another funny thing:
0-3 Notre Dame, ranked #25.

Today I couldn't find an open receiver on a pass play so I scrambled out to my right. As I ran toward the sideline there was a guy who was clearly open at the hash marks so I threw it to him. Would have been a completion, possibly even a touchdown...except that the DE who was a solid 7 yards away jumped into the air before I even released the ball and swatted it down. He didn't even know I was going to pass, much less TO WHOM I was going to be passing. But, yeah I'm sure you've all had this happen, BUT...

The NEXT PLAY right afterward, I had a wide open target on an out route so I threw it to him. It was an absolutely perfect ball thrown inches in front of his hands. Except he decides not to even bother trying to catch it, and just keeps running in a straight line to the sidelines. The guy behind him, of course, picks it off and returns it for 6.

So basically my WR doesn't even attempt to catch a ball thrown perfectly into his hands, but the other team's DE can get a hand on the ball when he doesn't even know the ball is going to be thrown. I need to start recruiting DEs so I can play them at the WR position and have a good passing game.

Just finished a dynasty where the two teams with the best record had 1 loss. #1 Wisconsin and #6 Houston. Every other team had 2 or more losses.
