I see this issue as a bit of sign of things to come.

The new generation consoles and internet content have changed the business. The game companies are just trying to keep up this crazy racket they have for 60-80 dollar games, annually.

Seems to me the hardware/software combo should be a one-off thing... or not at least not necessarily an annual thing.

By now I should just buy the game and these guys continually update and make my experience better. Hell I should be able to download in a customized sort of way... maybe I don't want to download some sim patches but occassionally I want some silly arcade stuff like giant NBA Jam heads.... I want choices and stuff.

the commish of my OD couldnt log onto our OD after trying everything. so, he called EA, told him of his situation. EA has told him that they are aware of this, & the upcoming patch will fix this when it is released. My commish, very annoyed @ this point, asked "when will it be released, aug 30th? EA said thur Aug 18th! im not holding my breath, but it would be awesome!

Is it just me or is the terrible deep ball coverage not mentioned in the patch notes?

Has EA confirmed that they are aware of this particular issue? It is pretty gamebreaking in some ways.

This so much. The Deep zone coverage is so broken it's ridiculous.

I pause the game at least twice a game to dissect the wrong reads on Deep Zone plays and yell at the player "WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING"

I'm thinking that will be updated with a tuner update, but I haven't heard any confirmation

No words from EA yet.

Some think that they can fix this via tuner, but i´m not so sure. THE SS literally are coming to the LOS on cover2 zones.

When the QB release the pass is too late.

Patches can (and do) drop just about anytime. Definitely doesn't have to be Tuesday.

I honestly don't see this patch coming out before the end of August. My guess is they did have a patch that they thought would fix some of the issues, but when further testing occured it probably screwed something else up. If the patch was going to be out soon u would think they would say it will be out the week of Auguest 22 or whatever. It sucks I really dont mind most of the issues except for the insane progession training in the offseason. You cant tell me no one at EA didnt see that with thier testing. With all the unemployed workers out there give a couple of them the video game and have them play. I would have reduced alot of the issues, and would have made them aware of ones that they would need to fix after the release.

I'm with you man. If they don't say anything by the end of the week, I doubt it comes out before the end of August. I know there's an interview schedule for tomorrow so they may something there. What I've noticed is historically they usually say something definitive about a week or so before the patch comes out. Seeing as how we haven't heard anything up until this point, I'm a little pessimistic about it coming out before the end of the month.

But usually they release the patch notes right bf a patch. They already released the patch notes so I could see it dropping out of the blue.

dont get mad for me asking this because i find it rediculous to surf through 60+ pages to look for an official ea post

has there been any mention of when it might occur besides the vague "end of the month" i wont even describe my issue because im sure its nothing that hasnt already been bitched about n the 60 strong pages of this monstrous thread

for the love of god fix cpu pass coverage. its not effing hard. safeties are deep as the deepest man. OMG i cant take it anymore
