Penny & shaq... 95 conference finals against bulls first time Michael didn't make finals.... and also the #45... that's a good match up to relive.... besides Michael said penny hardaway was is favorite player before the injuries.... he also wore a pair of penny shoes the first & only time Michael has done that.... that's respect so 2k you should also pay homage to that...

Good call, they must be writing them in on the ballot. For Derrick Rose to be considered a "legendary" player is just ridiculous. And I'm a Bulls fan. Clearly too many kids under the age of 15 voting in that. They need to spend some time watching ESPN classic or something to learn about other players that impacted basketball other than just Kobe.
I can't wait to play with Olajuwon, one of my all time favs in the low post. And Barkley better agree to the paycheck and get in the game and let a whole generation of fans learn fasthand why is was so special too.

Definitely looking forward to A.I. ... that's the closest to a 'recent' player I would like to see.

The latest year I'd want to see would be Shaq and Kobe's Lakers. Need more LEGENDS on the list. Pete Maravich, Bill Russell, John Havlicek, Jerry West (he is the logo after all), Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, I mean, get LeBron, Derrick Rose, Dirk, and Wade off of this list... none of them are legends yet.

Re: NBA 2K12 - All-Time Team is Taking Shape (Kotaku)

                  Must likely will get

                  Allen Iverson
                  Wilt
                  Hakeem
                  Billl Russell
                  The Big O

Everyone else will probably be in the game. If Allen Iverson comes back into the league. He will be a lock.

But it does open the door for a lot of different games to be played.

I also its sad that Reggie Miller and Charles Barkley won't be in this game.

Or any of those playoff series' for that matter.

Sad he won't be in the game, that should be a crime.

I don't even think a video game can recreate how horrible the NY played and were coached in those few second of that game.

Did I miss something? Did Reggie come out and say he wasn't gonna be in it? That sucks, he is made to be a legend in a video game. I wouldn't mind seeing the 2000 (?) Finals with the Pacers and the Lakers. That's about as contemporary as I would want to see but I would love it just to be able to play with that Pacer's team. I think Mullin was there too. That team would be putting up the points ...

lol. funny how people always exaggerate the 80s and 90s. probably still brainwashed from the jordan advertising onslaught.

kobe and lebron could drop 28 a night in the 80s without even breaking a sweat. dont let those 1 or 2 clips you've seen on jordan gets knocked down by detroit fool you. every team back then was giving up like 110 a night. kobe & lebron would still own in the 90s too.

@Drix10 - I read somewhere that Miller and Barkley are not apart of the NBA player's liscensing like Jordan. So essentially 2k would have to pay them individually to have them in the game.
