Really? They've been pretty soft since JT3 took over with his Princeton style IMO.

Re: Georgetown Brawls With Chinese Team In China
It wasn't no thug ball......The chinese players were fouling hard throughout the game and saying slurs throughout the game. Hell one of the chinese players even got in the face of their head coach calling him slurs.
Nobody going to tolerate being fouled hard on purpose all game long. And players going to always protect and stand up for their head coach.Comment

Re: Georgetown Brawls With Chinese Team In China
IDK who's fault it was, but the Chinese player had no business getting in JTIII's face. Whether or not the player was going to swing or not, regardless, you can't go up to the opposing coach and threaten like that. There's gonna be a reaction.
JT stayed very classy about it in the post game interviews.Comment

Ex, they're really not active in the military. They are professional bball players who are akin to our military sharp shooting teams.Comment

From what I've heard/read the players were mad that JT III was going out to halfcourt to instruct his players. Supposedly it broke some sort of unwritten Chinese rule. Also the refs seemed to be calling a bias game, the foul count was something like 28-12 in favor of the Chinese team. My Hoyas don't hack that much.
By their way, their team was huge. Smallest player is listed as 6'4. I'd love to see them do this against our Pro athletes.Comment

I don't like Georgetown, but damn that was disgraceful. There was some real hate on that court.Last edited by LingeringRegime; 08-18-2011, 05:00 PM.Comment
