lol Jermichael isnt fast ok..hope he doesnt get injured this year..Ive heard countless times by troy aikman from watching the packers game that Finley has speed like a WR which he displays everytime he performs..otherwise someone as high as profile as troy aikman wouldnt be saying..And about the 40 time again quarless was in shape when he did that, in traing camp he was overweight and MM described him as sluggish..

McCarthy also said the entire offense was sluggish! Let's see if his speed gets adjusted later on.

And if Aikman said LIKE a WR, that means similar, not pertaining to being EXACTLY that of a WR. If your average WR has a speed of 83, then Finley isn't too far off in my system.

Maybe it's just me, but I find Aikman to be insufferable. Shouldn't let anyone who's suffered that much head trauma in the booth.

Ok, straighten his leg out, and I bet he's about two feet off the ground. I mean, he's literally only about up to the DB's knees off the ground. You want to show me an example of good hops, find a good example. The other guy is on the ground.

Well, it Looks like Clark's foot is on the ground here, dragging the turf as you can see.

Clark is listed at 5-11 or 71 inches.

And to me it seems like the bottom of Finley's foot is about 3/8 the height of Clark off of the ground, or 26.625 inches.

Just under what he tested at the combine at 27.5 inches.

Plus, his leg is bent a bit meaning that his leg, if fully extended is actually closer to the ground that that even. About right if you ask me.

Not yet. Trying to tie up some legal stuff first for distribution. However, I am thinking about approving some fellow posters who inquired about making rosters for the site and then distributing them. I will keep you posted.

Speed has nothing to do with how much separation you can get on a route. That's route running and how well the DB covers the route.

JerMichael Finley isn't fast. This is a fact. Quarless is faster than him. This also a fact. No point debating this because it's true.

Finley should be a mid 70 guy in speed. But frankly players in this game aren't accurately rated in speed across the board. Vernon Davis should be at least 15 points higher than Jermichael based on 40 and based on in-game film. Speed is speed. Please rate it correctly Donny.

Basically.

I think the root of the problem is the game placing too much priority on speed. Slower players who are better at other things aren't as valuable as the faster guys. They need to do a better job representing the importance of things like route running in addition to making the ratings as objective as possible.

I'm not sure if you're being a smart-***, but he's about 5 inches off the ground. Well thrown ball is what made that play, and basically every jump ball I've seen on Finley's highlights.

This one is harder to judge because we don't know where in the endzone they are in relation to that pylon. My guess is its about the same as the last one.

None of this stuff should be an argument. The problem is that EA relies on crappy information to do their ratings and they get things out of whack IMO. Just trying to shed some light on that.
