what team do you think should have made the cut?
I think instead of the 90-91 golden state warriors. 2k should have added the year they had hardaway, sprewell, webber, and mullins. Or any team with sprewell on it. Sorry I was a big spree fan.Tags: None -

Big Spree fan too. But the RUN-TMC squad is perfect for me.
Legend: Charles Barkley
1992-93 Bulls vs Suns
Legend: Reggie Miller
1997-98 Bulls vs Pacers
It would've been fun to play as these players/teams in 2K12.

Re: what team do you think should have made the cut?
2004 Pistons. doesnt have to be part of a legends game. just throw em in as a random team. if they can have the audacity put the 02 Kings in (who are still fairly recent), then they can give me the pistons
1994 Bulls. Scottie Pippen as the legend. I think 2K should've given Pippen his due for the Jordan-less season. I don't like that his moment is from 96
2000 Trailblazers, 2000 Raptors, 1997 Heat, 1993 Suns, 1995 Mavs, 1999 Pistons (homer pick)
In future games, I think it'd be cool if 2K had a classic team for every franchise. Also, I'd like to see some retro All-Star/Rookie Challenge teamsComment

A lot of fun choices there. It would have been nice if Rasheed Wallace was on one of the included classic teams ('00 Blazers would have been a good choice) just so we could at least add a real version of him to our own creation of the '04 Pistons. However, out of curiosity, what made you request the '99 Pistons, of all the Piston squads you could have picked from? If I was selecting a team from that era, I think I'd go with the '97 team, but I guess that'd be the predictable choice. I also always had a soft spot for the '02 team, for it was the first time in my conscious life I was able to see the Pistons actually win their division (I was 6 during Detroit's repeat in '90).2004 Pistons. doesnt have to be part of a legends game. just throw em in as a random team. if they can have the audacity put the 02 Kings in (who are still fairly recent), then they can give me the pistons

the 97 team was the best from that era, but i wanted a squad that had grant hill, dumars and stackhouse all at the same time. plus they give me an excuse to sneak in christian laettner so i can get a step closer to remaking the dream team

Re: what team do you think should have made the cut?
Other than Barkley's Suns and Miller's Pacers, I think they did a great job covering the 90s. I would like to have seen more "Post Jordan/ Pre-Lebron" era teams. It would be cool to see the older guys in the league today during their peak years.
2000 Blazers (stacked squad, should of won the championship)
Key Players: Rasheed Wallace, Scottie Pippen, Damon Stoudamire, Brain Grant, Detlef Schremph, Arvydas Sabonis, Steve Smith, Bonzi Wells
2001 76ers
Key players: Allen Iverson, Dikembe Mutumbo, Aaron Mckie, Eric Snow, Tyrone Hill
2001 Raptors (no Tmac)
Key Players: Vince Carter (Athletic Peak), Antonio Davis, Alvin Williams, Charles Oakley, Dell Curry
2001 Bucks
Key Players: Ray Allen, Glenn Robinson, Sam Cassell, Tim Thomas, Lindsey Hunter
2002 Nets:
Key Players: Jason Kidd, Kenyon Martin, Kerry Kittles, Keith Van Horn, Richard Jefferson
2003 Suns (Great video game team)
Key Players: Stephon Marbury, Shawn Marion, Amare Stoudemire (rookie), Anfernee Hardaway (post injury)
2003 Rockets
Key Players: Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, Yao Ming (rookie)
Other Players who should be represented during their peak:
Grant Hill
Kevin Garnett (2004 MVP)
Steve Nash (2005 & 2006 MVP)
Tracy McGrady (2003)
Spurs (2003, 2005, or 2007) (Tim, Tony, & Manu Era)
Pistons (2004 nba champions) (Ben Wallace, Rasheed Wallace, Chauncy Billups, Rip Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince)Comment

Re: what team do you think should have made the cut?
Should of made the kings be like 99 or 2000 with jason williams instead of mike bibby. Jason williams would be one of the best video game players ever. Imagine the behind the back passes, elbow passes and all the sick handles. If it was implemented correctly it could be just as fun as jordan last yearComment
