I've heard that the late PS2 / XBox1 games played better because they were on an older engine with a different AI model. I'm already back to playing NFL2k5 as it is. Figured if it was worth it I may as well try an older version.

The games from 2005 on were simply amazing. Words can't express how much I loved those games and we are still waiting for some of the features and game play elements offered back then to show up now, however, I couldn't go backwards man. NCAA12 is a great game. -

I play 07 on the ps2 almost daily. It's actually fun w/o being infuriating like all the 360/PS3 versions.
If people would exercise a little self control and not buy the game day 1 because of all the bugs then maybe that would show EA that the product must be worth the money in order for it to sell well.

Last Gen had tons of features the game deep. Drills, Mini-Games, Discipline,Momentum, spring Game. Campus Legend was deeper than RTG now. Sports Illustrated Mags. FCS Teams.

Just for fun I popped NCAA 2005 into the XBox last night. 8 min qtrs, all american with sliders I used back in 04/ 05. Played as UNC @ Auburn. Good game. Lost 17-24. Rallied with 2 late td's to make it close. Campbell 12/18 for Auburn, Durant 19/36 for me. I couldn't run. Auburn ran all over me. Game had a nice feel even though I hadn't played a complete 05 game since early 2005 LOL. Drops weren't bad, know how to play better now than I did then which helps cut down on that nonsense. That was the most fun i've had playing NCAA football in quite awhile.

i work at a day-care that has a PS2 for the kids to play on and one of them brought NCAA 11 for PS2 to play. Great game. Tons of fun. Has everything i miss in the 06 game i last played for the last gen. consoles.
I didn't get a chance to go in depth with the game but it looked just how i liked it. And it was awesome.
Recruiting and graphics have upgraded for the Next Gen. consoles but i still prefer all of the great features of the Last Gen. consoles.Comment

Ummmm, let's see...... Div II teams, tons more of the "little things", better overall feel, very few bugs. I'd say it's better by far. ONly thing these games have is graphics.Comment

I just traded in NCAA Football 12 cancelled my pre-order for Madden because I couldn't take it anymore. I own 03 through 08 on Xbox, but I was thinking of purchasing 11 for Playstation 2. Would it be worth it or should I just stick with 07?Comment

If they were to add 80% of the Last Gen Features into NCAA 13 along with Dynasty/Coaching Carousels and RTG Improvements and nothing else, The game would still be a 9.5/10. What would make it a 10/10, would be wither incorporating Real-time Physics or Completely Redoing OL/DL Play & WR/DB Play, and Further Differentiating Players(Tendencies/Triats and Throw/Run Styles).Comment

I just popped that in the other day and couldn't find a workaround to get the schedules right. Maybe I'm thinking back to the Bill Walsh college football game, but I thought in the past you could adjust your conference schedule to your liking as long you kept it within conference requirements. 11 will not even let you toggle home/away.
If they had 12 on PS2 I would buy it right now just to have updated conferences/schedules.Comment
