Re: Xbox Action Replay on Windows 7
goto control panel, then user accounts, then there should be a link on your control panel that says "change user account control settings" click that.. then put never notify and reboot the computer. now u will be able to drag and drop save files on your program.Xbox: IceBreakerGhost

Try the fix on this page, I know it says Vista but see if it works for Win 7.

Re: Xbox Action Replay on Windows 7
I have W7 and have not encountered that problem....try reinstalling it, if that doesnt work, uninstall it and simply connect the adapter without the CD installation...W7 should self install the proper driver prior to you later installing the CD.
Hope it works out

I appreciate the assistance but I no longer have to worry about this. I have a 360 and a HD transfer cable.Comment

Re: Xbox Action Replay on Windows 7
Several people in my family have laptops with Windows 7 Home Premium .In this version, which is common, you can't access Windows XP mode. That's what you need to do to get the PC to recognize your action replay memory card.
Unfortunately,I would love to get back into 2k5 and now 2k4 but am screwed.Comment

Re: Xbox Action Replay on Windows 7
Another user posted this in my thread. It was a drag and drop issue but for the 360. Still worth a shot too see if it works for you.
I had the same issue using xport 360 with Win 8. Although you turned off UAC, that will not work. You will have to change the value in the registry from 1 to 0 to truly disable UAC. That worked for me. Below is how to change the value for disabling UAC. BTW, excellent roster file GillBoldberg!!
