Interactive Simulation Franchise (Madden 12)

Ground Rules: Every team owner should be active once a week to not make anybody want to leave or get mad. To update your team rather it be because of an injury or if you just want a different starter, let me know by pm or on this forum. Also once there's enough people in the franchise I will post a Free Agent Board and Rookie Watch to keep you guys updated on who's out there. I am trying to teach myself how to use photoshop so I will try to post a weekly update with Mike Ditka, Deion Sanders and Chris Berman about each game from all owners. So say if the Vikings and Packers played but no one was the owner of that team I will leave it out unless it was Game of the Week.
Now that the game is out here are the franchise rules:

Quarter Length: Irrelevant since it's simulated but 12 minutes
Fantasy Draft: Off
Trade Deadline: On
Use Preexisting Injuries: Off
Update Depth Chart: User
Re-Sign Players: User
Free Agent Bidding: User
Sign Draft Picks: User
Fill Roster: User
Sim Cut Days: User
Sim Scouting: User
Edit Player: Off

I know this might be a little too hard to get enough people but I was thinking of starting a franchise where I would take control of all 32 teams then have up to 32 different OS community members (hoping to have at least 10) be the head of each team (or just however many people I can get to do this) and I will update on stats for each team along with injuries every week so you can see who's doing bad and who's doing good to make roster changes if needed and I haven't figured out how I would do the draft if I get plenty of people since it's timed. But yeah I thought it would be kind of fun, so is anyone interested? If so just put your username to the team you want.
(Oh and why not just do online franchise? Idk I find it fun to go through and make changes to try and make your team the best by making the right choices in who to start, draft, etc. and leave it up to the computer to do your work, kind of like just being the coach its all up to the players to do their job.)

Glad you guys are interested. If you have any friends that you think would be interested (and if you want to have a semi competition with them in the same division or something) let them know too haha I've been trying to figure out a way to get the community involved and this seemed like a good idea so we'll see how it turns out

Oh, and for the draft, the only options i see is either setting a time and hope everyone shows up, or have people send you a draft list and hope for the best.

The problem with the draft list is I probably won't know who is gonna be the best option and who will be the worst option and I wouldn't find out till I open the draft board.

I'm thinking the only way is to hold a chat with everyone at once but that will be hard but since its simulation and if we cant do it I'll just simulate it

Love the idea, but, you're going to find it'll never work. These have been tried (on other forums I'm a part of) and never seem to work out. People will get upset if you play a game too quick without letting them fix their team.

Well however many people I get I'm going to post top players of the game for each person's team, then post updates to injuries and I was thinking of adding like a Chris Berman, Mike Ditka, Deion Sanders weekly recap or something along the lines of that. I will allow the players however long they need I'm not just going to skip ahead and not give them a chance. Once the people have their team set for the week then I will simulate each individual game until everyone's game is done. It might not end well as some people might forget or get too busy but I would like to at least try myself.

You're on here every day, read all the stuff you want to and reply, etc... The game is done and you get your team set that day for next week.

Myself, I can only get on here once and a while. Maybe I go on vacation for a week. Don't post for 10 days or something for whatever reason.

Now, is it fair to you that you have to wait a week and a half for me to set my team when you're all ready? Nope. Now, it might not bug you, but it'll bug someone, and they'll get bored waiting and stop caring. It will happen.

Want to do something that'll probably work out better? Make a team of OS Created Players on a single team and play each game... I'd be up for that in 10 seconds or less. lol.

Yeah I know what you mean I kind of said that in the last post I think, where I said it might not end well because people forget or get too busy (like go on vacation or if they have a job they do on end from 6-6) but I was just going to try maybe 10 people..see how it goes and if it's bad then I'll let it go and know I tried. I know it will probably not end well. Maybe I should just try 5 and try to expand from there? Idk haha doesn't hurt to try.

also if your one of those busy people that cant get on all the time why bother signing up?

theres nothing wrong with being to busy either im just saying if your gonna be out of town alot or working etc... then theres no reason to join really is how i see it.

i apologize if im coming off harsh just my two cents is all.
