You understand pretty much the basic concept. You put the songs into playlists for the events (pp, pp, goals, intros, home/away win etc.) and import them into the game via usb drive (ps3) or cd (360). You can add effects such as reverb to make the tracks sound more realistic and clip the tracks to your liking by downloading music editing software such as Audacity or WavePad.
