"Maybe" would have suffuced to offer him as well a huge portion, if not all, of a paid DLC ... anyways, they tried and it takes 2 to have an agreement ... so I move on.

This doesn't explain why he's not in the game. We all knew they tried to get Charles in and talks broke down at one point or another. 2K wasn't forgetting about him or just ignoring him. They offered him a contract and he declined.

I was hoping they'd tell us exactly what it was that made him turn them down. Barkley isn't a guy with a huge ego when it comes to comparing himself to other greats: he knows he's ringless and there are players better than him from his era. I don't think it was that. Him being in is free money, so I don't think it was that. Maybe he didn't like the situation they put his avatar in... last year obviously was losing to the Bulls in the Finals. This year? Playing second fiddle to Dr. J?

I wonder who gets dropped if Barkley and Reggie signed on? Will Pippen and Stockton's challenges become Jordan/Pippen and Malone/Stockton? Does Kareem's challenge become a Magic/KAJ challenge?

just add the Reggie Miller wristband as an option and put in the facial features to at least create something close to them. If they put the option in there people will figure out how to make them.

This^^^ It appears in previous versions (2k11) they only included "throwback" jerseys that the teams actually wear, that's why the Nets didn't have one, they don't wear one. Hopefully since you can't really ask teams what "throwbacks" they wear this season(since there may bot be a season at all) we get a closer to complete set for each team in addition to all the ones that were available last year.

He needs to be in the game, man. IMO playing him against these other NBA Legends will be like playing Kratos against the Gods in the GOW series. Barkley has that character LOL.
Anyway, it's good to know that Chuck and 2K have a very positive relationship in between. If that's the case then 2K has got to get him for NBA 2K13, it might be the last game to feature Michael Jordan. And probably the final game of 2K Sports I'll be having...

MJ + All the rest NBA Legends/Teams + Sir Charles (as a '93 Suns player) = NBA 2K13. Make it happen already.

It's probably because of something like...Rob Jones beat him in golf 5 years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if that's Charles' decision-making method.
