Re: Played In Madden 12 Tourney At Fox 'n Hound...
Well, I was playing against humans, so it depended on how many pre snap changes they made. The scrambling aspect depends on the person using him. When I did scramble, it was when the play broke down. Easy? No. I did make a couple of HUGE 3rd down conversions when my opponent didn't use a spy. So rewarding.
I for one won't be afraid at all to play against the Eagles. It's all about matchups. Keep a spy on Vick, and at least one DE on QB contain...you'll be fine.
Thanks for the reply and saving me some bucks. I probably will pass this year on madden and just play nhl.Comment

Re: Played In Madden 12 Tourney At Fox 'n Hound...
My bad, I run into people like that so much that I forget not everyone who has a problem with Madden is like that. I still think it will be the best Madden yet, but Madden 04 & 05 were great, so we'll see. I'll be the first one on here to admit I was wrong about 12 if I don't enjoy it after playing the retail version.Comment

I also STRONGLY believe this years Madden will be the best ever. I have never put so much faith in EA before. I'm shocked I'm this excited about this game after being disappointed by EA's lack of (insert here) year after year. Now I hear the presentation is going to get worked on heavily for next year.... As a huge football fan I'm pumped about Madden and it feels so good again.

These do indeed make a girl ugly

On a more serious note OP, you said you think slow is the best speed for realistic animations. My question is if you all tinkered at all with the threshhold (I'm assuming you didnt). So with the default threshhold, could you tell the difference in speed between a speedy rb or wr and a bulky lineman?
Also, how is zone defense (specifically zone-blitz)?
Last question, in your short time with the game, did you see any glaring/problematic glitches?
Thank you very much good sir.
2). The zone was pretty spot on. It never felt cheesy or impossible to move the ball. It honestly came down to timing. Using playmaker (which a lot of guys forget to do) is gonna be HUGE. Working the pocket has never felt more realistic,
3.) No glaring glitches that I saw. No money plays (with my limited gameplay) at all. The defense seemed to have another gear on 3rd and 4th down situations. I loved that feeling. This game is rock solid. Friday night can't get here fast enough.Deion Sanders= The greatest NFL player (pound for pound) the game has ever seen...

After the ball is snapped, you can direct your receiver's routes. Like if you're trying to throw a curl to your x receiver and the corner has perfect coverage, you can direct your receiver to run deep or come back to you, etc."A man can only be beaten in two ways: if he gives up, or if he dies."Comment
