4. #10 Auburn 9-3 (5-3)
5. #24 Miss. State 8-4 (4-4)
6. LSU 7-5 (3-5)

The thing is, I beat Alabama 34-29 during the season. I thought that was the tiebreaker? Or am I wrong?

No, when there's a three-way tie the game use alphabetical order as the tiebreaker.

There is one that happened to me that I thought odd...I was Arkansas(shock) and won the SEC ending 12-1 ranked #4. So I was happy representing in the Sugar Bowl against #5 Nebraska(were #1 but lost to #8 THE Ohio St. in B1G champ game)...only we roll into the game and I am in white and the visitor??? WTH?

Some of the most basic things in this game are fubar'd...

So I was happy representing in the Sugar Bowl against #5 Nebraska(were #1 but lost to #8 THE Ohio St. in B1G champ game)...only we roll into the game and I am in white and the visitor??? WTH?

that isn't a broken factor. the bowl games have set rotations for home/away.

for example Texas was the Away team 2 years in a row when playing in the rose bowl. in '04-05 they replaced a Pac10 team while the Big10 team had homefield, so Texas wears white against Michigan. in '05-06Texas goes back to the Rose bowl for the National Championship game against USC but now it is the Pac10 Home year so Texas wears white again.

now it is a little bit different since the NCG is a 2nd game at a stadium which has the home team being #1 ranked team. so the 2010 NCG which also had Texas in the game had #2 Texas as the away team and wearing White, however this wasn't the BCS Rose Bowl, it was the BCS National Championship Game at the Rose Bowl.

that still doesn't change the BCS bowl games like the Sugar, if you went back again the following year you would/should be the home team.

So you are saying thats how it is in this game...cause its not like that in real life;

2008 Georgia(Home) vs. Hawaii
2009 Alabama(Home) vs. Utah
2010 Florida(Home) vs. Cincinnati
2011 Arkansas(Home) vs. Ohio State

Granted I only went back 4 years but there is the pattern. As I said, if thats how the "GAME" does it and "REAL LIFE" is different, then I have another problem with "...if its in the game..." nonsense.
