It seemed like last year the patches were smaller and more frequent, which should have been the approach this year. This is really a shame! We have a 12 person league waiting for this patch to begin.

What people don't understand is yes, the patches were more frequent last year, but IMO i'm glad that they are spending more time on this. For the record, the patches came out sooner last year but also the patches did some funky things to gameplay that really set 11 back. By them taking time to approach the problems associated with 12 it really heightens the opportunity to address the severe problems with this title. Some people just don't have patience, I understand. The devs can't just throw this thing together and send it out. I think they learned from that mistake. People just chill, it surely won't be too long from now. If so, then so be it as long as it addresses the problems. I will wait for them to fix a game that then ultimately gives me my 60+ dollars worth!

also remember that each game is only allowed 2 free patches.
so, if they were to put out a 3rd patch like they did last year it would come out of their pockets which isn't likely to happen.

maybe they shouldn't have rushed the 1st patch out so fast considering it was available the day the game came out.

terrible foresight on that one has caused this 2nd patch to be severely delayed

This tread has nothing to do with detail of the upcoming patch. It has become a troll fest. I guess that's thewayitis, when it comes to EA. What blows my mind is when people say, "I will never buy NCAA 13.". Then they follow it up with, "I will never buy it on release day!" how to stick to your guns.

Some of the biggest EA haters on on the prowl to get Madden early. I don't get it. Do they want it early to complain about EA some more? If you don't like it, don't buy it!

Please lock this thread until some REAL info comes out!

There will always be ^ these kind of people, the kind who never expect much for their video game dollar, and cannot understand why other people do. These are the same people who grovel at the feet of EA and their developers, why is it that they are even commenting on this thread, if they have nothing better to say than to troll the other members opinions? I guess THATS thewayitis.

IMO i don't think so since madden only cares about the attributes and not tendencies like ncaa does. just my thought so don't quote me on that...

This situation is so sad. Usually around this time, I would have put in a crazy amount of hours into NCAA and been knee deep in year two or three of my dynasty. Things are just too bugged up this year and now I am just losing interest.

Why am I waiting for a patch to play this when I have a perfectly working Deus Ex: Human Revolution??

One of the big additons this year in Madden is NEW player tendencies (or whatever they're calling it.) In fact, GotMadSkillzOn thinks that might have some relation to the root of the problem in NCAA 12.

I'd be surprised if draft classes work like they're supposed to.

Madden has more QB ratings than ncaa does anyway I doubt this roster bug will have any effect with madden and the tendencies it uses.

You're talking about player roles (putting and RPG feel to the game) which I think used to be in Madden "08 or 09". To my knowledge, their roles are affected by how they/you play each game and then the game will assess that and then turn the players each week up or down in attributes as well as change roles (in fact if you played the demo, you'll see it when you press the start button during the game i.e. green/red arrows describing pos/neg roles). Sooo if that's the case, I don't see the roster glitch effecting Madden; but then again you never know...

I didn't see any mention of the overtime glitch that has been in the game for 2 years now. You can't go past the 2nd OT without a team getting the ball on both possessions. It makes an intense classic game go to waste because of another glitch EA has ignored, but this time it's been 2 years and it's still not fixed.

I didn't see any mention of the overtime glitch that has been in the game for 2 years now. You can't go past the 2nd OT without a team getting the ball on both possessions. It makes an intense classic game go to waste because of another glitch EA has ignored, but this time it's been 2 years and it's still not fixed.

Hopefully this is something they added to the patch. Just awful. Ruins great games.

Conventional wisdom suggests that blindly and continually harrassing the creator would end up with you getting kicked out of the store permanently. Most people that are arguing the point I am are just saying it's beating a dead horse now, no one is saying anything new besides that it's going to be time to only play madden or that they won't be buying NCAA until september next year. At least that's what I'm arguing for.

It doesn't matter if no one is saying anything new. This scenario is going to credit the OS community with more power than we actually have, but it does illustrate the argument I'm going to make.
If you have 100 customers and only 1 of them complains then chances are it was just a singular case. If you have 100 customers and 20, 30, or 40 of them are complaining then you know there is a real issue that needs to be worked out. The more people complain the more a company realizes they have made an egregious error in their product or service that needs to be remedied and won't be tolerated in the future.

When customers stop complaining they lose their right to complain.
