I watched the Gametrailers review and its not like they had both versions side by side to prove the differences....in fact when they were talking about the differences in both version, they showed two different fields.

I'd wait for a side by side comparison before rushing to judgment.

also someone asked if there are even legit 1080p games this gen.

well the PS3 has alot of them...most of them disc based games that released early in the console's life.

in fact NBA 2k7 was true 1080p for the PS3 version...but for some reason the next year they dropped it to match the 360 version...and it has been 720p ever since.

The most resent 1080p game for the PS3 is Motorstorm Apocalypse...which also does 720p in 3D mode. GT5 is almost full 1080p...they just decided to go with 1280 by 1080 instead of 1920 by 1080....I believe the top of the screen (which is usually the sky) was sacrificed alittle...resolution wise, so you can't really tell.
