    Switching Conferences Question

When you switch conference in Dynasty mode, does the computer assign new rivals from your new conference? Or can you pick your own?

Since one of your goals as HC is to beat your rivals, I'm worried that I won't reach that goal in case my rivals are still in my old conference...

Schedule them on your own if necessary, but some may be picked up to fill the schedule.

No and no. Your rivals won't change. If you want to play them, you'll have to schedule them as OOC games.

So what are the implications of recruiting promises in this regard?

Specifically, I have an online dynasty going with a friend. We changed Ole Miss to an ACC team (moved Miami to SEC). I had never done anything like this, and we didn't even consider manually scheduling rivalries. I guess I (naively) assumed the teams would switch rivals. We were midway through the second season, when I realized I had an 0 - 0 record against rivals.

Starting next year, I will try to schedule Miss State, and maybe LSU. In the meantime what will this mean for my recruits for whom I promised a winning record against rivals? (I won't have any record against rivals).

And, as far as that goes, I'm really screwed matchup wise in the future if my friend can keep a natural schedule with some OOC cupcakes, while I have to use my out of conference games to schedule tough SEC teams.

Really should have thought this through a bit better.

I think it's really Don't have a losing record against rivals instead Have a winning record against rivals. So if you're 0-0, I don't think they're going to care, but I'm not entirely sure. If you want to be safe, you can schedule 1 and beat that team giving you a 1-0 record.

Is it possible to change your rivals if you play a team enough times and have a lot of close games?

          NFL: Baltimore Ravens
          NCAA: Oregon Ducks
