In my Madden 12 franchise, Carolina drafted Andrew Luck although they have Cam Newton who won roty. I thought this issue was fixed.

Kidding aside, if they had the number 1 pick it would be hard to pass on Luck. Very good trade value at least.

Of course it's hard to pass on Luck. But if their QB just won ROTY, then why are they taking a QB?

I stand corrected. But I think the point still remains.

Is the logic perfect? Of course not. Is it fair to expect a perfect draft logic? I don't think so. This is not a big deal to me.

Now the drafting of a punter at no. 10 overall is a different story. That sh:t is not cool

did Jimmy Clausen get a real chance? By that i mean play behind a healthy offensive line and not a banged up one.

It doesn't matter, the point is no team would would draft QB in the 1st round if there current rookie QB just won ORoTY.

I had a punter going #6 overall in my draft with imports and then 2 TE's in the top 11 in a generated draft.
