Key takeaway from the video that NBA 2K12 is CRAZY!!! That is all I need to hear lol. I gathered the following by watching the video that I have not heard explained to this level in any other preview.

1. The playbook has been expanded to the point where you can assign specific players to run specific plays. So like most plays in the playbook they don't have to be ran by the point guard if you don't want them to. This opens up the playbook by so much and this will be huge to those that like to run plays like me. They also have better explanations of what specific players are supposed to do in the plays step. I guess they did this so that if you don't have deep basketball experience this will help you know exactly what needs to be done on a given play helps novices and experienced players. I hope this transfers online it has to be?
2. When playing zone a blue area map shows up to show you what area you are supposed to cover in the zone. Again it will help novice players and will be nice to see.
3. Realism by what he says in the players tendencies have been upped to the point where it has not been in a basketball game before. He feels that 2K has reached a point where they have captured the signature style of what makes the player and as a person and he says this is the biggest change overall in his opinion. This is huge and I think will give it the most replay value especially against the CPU.
4. Defense bumping collision detection of 2K11 has evolved and I am sure most of us seen this in the videos but he explained that it is gone and seems to be based off footwork like real life. He also mentioned "bums" not being able to stop Kobe which could happen with the initial bumping anination in 2K11

Can't wait to get my copy

Stillfeelme I am not certain number one is exactly as presented. I would hold off on play system anticipation until you get something official on that.

Ok Czar,

I have to admit, everything I typed would have been icing on the cake but I will wait to something official comes out by insight or when I get the actual game to see how playcalling has been improved. I like what he said as the biggest improvement overall in his opinion was the signature style/tendecies which seems to be taking the game to another level.

The one thing no one has really mentioned or expanded on what the shot stick control over any shot. That is probably the last info on gameplay that hasn't been expanded on yet especially in the post.

Oh man I love this guy, that was great. Great enthusiasm and you can tell he just loves gaming. He also did an entertaining review of Madden 12. Needless to say but he is a BIG fan of both games.
