Is the default camera too far back?
I've heard some complain about this especially with running plays. I thought NCAA camera is near perfect but i wouldn't want it further which some have said it is. Opinions would be nice because this will decide if i buy the game or not.Tags: None -

I dont think so. In any case you have zoom, standard and wide to choose from. Or use broadcast cam like meJoshua:

Re: Is the default camera too far back?
I think so (mainly in the running game). I prefer NCAA 12's camera angle. I can only talk about the angle in the M12 demo. Once I get the game tomorrow I'll check out zoom which looks better on running plays but I'm concerned about seeing the outside WRs on pass plays. I'll find out tomorrow.Comment

Re: Is the default camera too far back?
I started playing with the zoom camera angle, and I was absolutely in love. That is, until I called a pass play and couldn't see either wide receiverIt's a shame too because I really enjoy that zoom camera during everything else.

Yep, default is a bit too far back for my tastes.
Wide view is even farther back.
Zoom is perfect for running plays, way to close for passing plays.
Broadcast is... broadcast.Comment

Re: Is the default camera too far back?
This is exactly how I feel. Really sucks because it's perfect for runs. Standard camera is too far. I think the perfect camera would be somewhere between zoomed and standard. Unfortunately we dont have a custom camera option.Comment

Re: Is the default camera too far back?
The NCAA camera is a perfect mix imo. I'd love to see them patch that in as an option or even a partial zoom cam - something between zoom and standard like the posters above said. The old PS2 days let you choose a camera option separately for run or pass plays along with a camera editor. We are still very limited on next gen football angles.Comment

Re: Is the default camera too far back?
this post right here is what gets me. i as well as many have been BEGGING for a user-defined camera. How u see the game is just as important as how u play the game. But long socks and gloves and short dreadlocks beat out multiple playable camera angles. Hopefully next year this wont be neglected againMy Alter Ego is better than Your NormalComment

Re: Is the default camera too far back?
I didn't play Madden 11(I played 08 on PC up till this year), but I've owned both NCAA 11 and 12 and I became used to the camera they used. Then I got Madden 12 this year and I put the camera on Wide(same setting I used on 08) before playing a game and I've been perfectly happy with it. Not sure why most think Standard is too far back .Comment

MLB The Show has an option to adjust your hitting camera exactly how you want it... Hmm, take notes.Comment
