So just for kicks I decided to sim a season in franchise mode with NCAA 12 draft classes. Carolina goes 2-14 for the second year in a row, and who do they take with their second consecutive 1st pick? None other than Andrew Luck. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but if Cam Newton's role is "QB of the Future", shouldn't the Panthers be shooting for another position in the draft?
Luck does however come out of the draft rated higher than Cam
