Are you playing the 360 or PS3 version? I can explain it for the PS3.

I don't mean to hijack the thread but I have the same question, and I'm a PS3 user so if you could explain it would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Also, we are all playing on the same PS3 if that makes a difference.

It's pretty simple, but there are a couple of tricks. Once you create and save a franchise file, find it in your saved games and copy it to your USB drive. When you take a look at the files on your USB, you will notice a 'PS3' folder. Inside of that are your saved files. The best thing to do when emailing this is to create a compressed file of that PS3 folder, and email that compressed file. You can rename that file anything you want, but I just leave it as 'PS3'. Understand that when the compressed (or zipped) file is opened, you will see the original 'PS3' folder inside of that compressed folder. The original 'PS3' folder and it's contents are what the recipient needs to copy to his USB. It's important that the PS3 folder and subfolders remain intact, or it will not be read by the PS3. The path has to be the same.

Here's the catch: You cannot use the same franchise file between two different users. The work-around is to create an identical PS3 account that is the same on each console for however many are going to be in your franchise. Use this user account when creating / playing / sharing your offline franchise with others, who must also use that same account when playing the shared franchise.

        Hopefully that makes sense.

If this is the case, I'm not sure I understand what the issue is.

After we did our fantasy draft the preseason started. I went to play my game and for some reason it simulated everyone else's game when I played mine. Also it wouldn't let them do their preseason activities such as cut players and edit depth chart.

You have to play them in the order as they are listed in the league schedule or it will simulate all previous games. This is dumb, but it's the way that it appears to be. No user controlled teams should have their games simulated without some sort of warning.

So for 360 you need to make a new xbox profile and save everything on there? Then everyone needs to sign in under this new profile name to play games and do offseason? Does the new profile need to have xbox live subscription?
