Missouri slaughters Texas

The Missouri Tigers hosted the Texas Longhorns, and in the game of a life time for James Franklin sent the Longhorns home losers in a 70-0 blowout.

Texas started the game throwing a pick 6 to T. Bolden, and it just got worse as the Tigers defense held the Longhorns to 94 offensive yards and 7 first downs.

Freshmen defensive linemen Larry Harris and Gerrand Johnson combined for 5 sacks, 11 TFL, and 2 forced fumbles.

The Longhorns have not been slaughtered that bad in a game ever, and Missouri has never put the beatdown on a traditional power to this extent. After this game Missouri's reputation has gained a lot of steam, beating down the blue-blooded Texas Longhorns 70-0 is a feat not to be overlooked. However, Texas is not a highly ranked and highly respected opponent this year, they are a team filled with 5* recruits that are not living up to their potential.
