NBA 2k12 Midnight Release ?

is it possible to get 2k12 from walmart that midnight before it comes out since it would officially be oct 4 ? if so who's going to get it

I called my local Gamestop this weekend and they said they may have a midnight launch because another big game (whose name escapes me) is coming out that same day.

I think the game your talking about is Rage ( i think) but I know my gamestop isn't having a midnight release. I'm assuming if I go to wal-mart that night they're gonna have to go to the back to get it and their prolly gonna have lousy attitude about it

I'll be at the local Wal-mart getting my copy, Gamestop acts like 2k isn't that big of a deal to have a midnight release....they claim to never get enough pre-orders to do so.....

Wal-mart usually has the games in boxes ready to open and sell....at least here they do....They're usually stocking the shelves and things like that anyways...

I promise you, if Gamestop does a Midnight Release, I'll be first in line. I'm already gonna plan ahead and take the day off work, so I'll be gaming all night long with 2K12. Hell, most of the night will be probably spent adjusting accessories, player ratings and sliders.

yea thats what I was thinking. I'm usually in xbox live parties with a few friends around midnight and can't wait to leave for a minute and return with 2k12, there gonna be P****D lmao

Gamestop in raleigh nc is having midnight release. Maybe two or three gamestop around me are going to do it.

It's gonna be a long day at work for me on the 4th....I'll be up all night playing after midnight, then I'll have to go to work.....sit and think about 2k all day....I need more vacation days.....

Im going to Walmart even tho its always a hassle getting games at Midnight, They are slow to get the game out the box, They seem to never know what you are talking about or its some old person that does not know the difference between a DVD and a video game.

I have mine pre-ordered through Amazon but the UPS guy doesn't deliver my packages until late afternoon between 2-5pm. I want to play it ASAP.

If there is a midnight release close to me in the Chicago area I will be there. Actually the K-mart close to me is/was open 24 hours so I might try to get it there. I believe I bought it there last year at midnight for $40( I had a $20 credit I received from buying NHL 11). If anyone in Chicago lives in the nw part of town the address for the K-mart is 3443 W. Addison its right off the Kennedy Expressway Addison exit.

The K-mart is always empty by midnight so no lines but you may have to wait for an employee to bring out the games from the back.

Thinking about getting it from Walmart but want the Larry Bird cover and not sure how Walmart will go about getting them...also glad the dlc teams are on all early shipments
