Re: 2011 NFL Season Kickoff game: New Orleans Saints @ Green Bay Packers
I already know what to expect if we lose(in the media of course):
"Well maybe if the Packers held some get togethers like the Saints did, they wouldn't have lost".
Not that it's gonna get [Emmitt Smith]blowed up[/Emmitt Smith]but just something to expect.
This has the makings of a 27-24ish game I will say though.#RespectTheCulture -
The only game I saw of the Saints was the Texans game. They didn't look too impressive in that one, from what I remember.
Rodgers looks like he hit midseason form. I expect a strong showing from both offenses. I think the packers defense outperforming the Saints D is the key to this one.
I like our chances, but what a game to start the season with.

I think it will be a good game but I'm expecting the Packers to win this. Since the NFL went to these Thursday Night season openers the Home team has never lost.
I do believe the Saints are struggling a bit at the Defensive End spot. Will Smith is suspended for 2 games, and Jeff Charleston is banged up. So that leaves Turk McBride, and Rookie Cameron Jordan as the likely starters. If the Saints are forced to blitz they better get there or I see Rodgers having a huge night.Minnesota Vikings

Forced to blitz? Gregg Williams would blitz on every down if he could. With our secondary blitzing is very prevalent to force hurried decisions or bad throws to give them more chances for turnovers.
I like the Saints chances of walking out with a win, they seem to be money in primetime and i believe the defense will make enough plays to scrape out a close winLast edited by Chrisksaint; 09-04-2011, 09:01 PM.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Love it when the season opens up on my birthday!
Would be nice to get the W as a present, but I don't feel good about this game at all. I'm picking the Pack 34-20. Atleast I drafted GB defense in my fantasy league(which I'm now hooked on the before the season even started. Which takes me from lame to mega lame). You looking at the Chair MAN!

I know it sucks having to watch an NFL Game at 5:30 in the afternoon over there man LOL.
Anyway, if our O-Line shows up, Pack by 14.
If they don't, Saints by 7.Last edited by ProfessaPackMan; 09-04-2011, 09:56 PM.#RespectTheCultureComment

Thanks Pack.
I'm concerned about our pass rush. With Brown cut(not crying over that) and Smith suspended I don't know where the pressure is going to come from? Hopefully Jordan lives up to his 1st round selection, but that may be asking to much from a rookie. You looking at the Chair MAN!

When we traded up from Ingram I thought we were trading up for Bowers. I really want to draft Dequan we could use extra help at DE. I think he's better than Jordan. Will be interesting to compare Bowers career to all the DE's taken before him.You looking at the Chair MAN!

I think the Madden Curse hit Brees last year. I don't think he played as well as he should have. I also remember reading he had a damaged/sprained ACL and played through it.
I say Saints win by 7.NFL: Arizona Cardinals
NBA: Chicago Bulls
NHL: Los Angeles Kings
NCAA F: Ohio State Buckeyes
NCAA B: San Diego State AztecsComment

More than likely going to be decided by 10 points or less. I'm going to take the Pack. To many defensive play makers.
Can't wait for the game to start. Going to be hooked. Not to excited about the commercials though.Originally posted by WatsonTigerOne out of 7 billion, and we still tagged your ***.Comment
