NCAA Football 12 only running in 780 pixels

For some reason NCAA 12 automatically runs on 720p for me. I checked the PS3 settings and they're correct. As soon as I exit the game, it automatically returns to 1080p. Is there someway in game to set it to 1080p, or is it just that as high as the resolution goes? I can't find a resolution setting anywhere.

you can go to your display settings and turn off 720, but I wouldn't. It looks and better as 720. the game was developed to run that way. If you force it, it does not look right. what brand of HDTV do you own? and inches?

i have a 42'' Vizio and i have it set to 1080 and it looks good

720p is it... this game is not 1080p on ps3 or 360 lt will most likly look the same some times worst in 1080p....on.ps3....

The game runs in 720p no matter the system. The Xbox has a built-in scaler to scale it to 1080p if your TV is set that way. The PS3 displays all games in their native resolution as long as that resolution is selected in Display settings. The problem with turning off the 720p option is that you're forcing the game to a resolution that it's not meant to run and if you have a game that only supports 720p and not 1080p, it will downscale to standard definition.

And by the way, p stands for progressive, not pixel...

I'm having a display issue too. I'm now playing the game on a 46" Vizio and it's so big that I notice jaggies I never saw before. So the game looks and runs worse at higher definitions? That would be a real bummer if true.

All imperfections are magnified on larger screens, but I'm running it on a 55" and it looks good to me. But that's through an HDMI cable connection. Assuming you are using HDMI as well, I'd play around with both TV and console settings to try and improve it. 720p should not show jaggies unless you're a couple of feet from the screen I wouldn't think.
