Well stated BadassHskr. In fact I bet if they lose 500 it wouldn't even phase them. Another point is that people say they won't buy NCAA 13 right now. Wait until they release the information and videos of the game and then see what people do. Most of them end up caving in and buying the game. Hell if you look at some of the comments when the information was coming out about NCAA 12 a lot of them said "After last years game there was no way I was buying 12. Now that I saw the videos and whats going to be in the game I'm no question buying it." Once the hype for a game rises the more people cave in and end up buying the game. That's just the way it is.NHL-Minnesota Wild

Re: NCAA Football 12 Title Update #2 - Waiting on Approval From Microsoft and Sony
and everyone, please understand, i didn't come in here trolling with my statement.
i'm just as anxious as the next guy for the patch to drop. i however have been playing a single person OD since the game dropped and rosters came out.
i did however restart my OD last week, and just last night finished game 2 of my new dynasty.
i have to say i wasn't really expecting the patch today being a day after a holiday, but i was a bit disappointed to come in to OS today, and see nothing yet again."Not the victory but the action. Not the goal but the game. In the deed the glory."Comment

Who is celebrating it? It's looking at it without rose-colored glasses on. It's a legit, realistic take on the situation. Everyone here can sit around and think they can make a difference with the other twenty posters here not buying the game as a protest next year, but it's not going to make any difference to EA.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 12 Title Update #2 - Waiting on Approval From Microsoft and Sony
Nah that wont happen. NCAA football is miles more popular than NCAA basketball, and the game is closer to being a great product than that basketball games was.
If we stop buying, EA will know exactly why we have done so, and the number of ppl on this site is just great enough to catch their attention, and not big enough to do any real damage to the series future.Comment

"We"? You mean the like twenty posters who aren't going to buy the game next year? Good luck with that.Comment

And how do you figure EA is supposed to find out when the patch should be expected? Send their corporate ninjas into Sony and Microsoft headquarters and spy on them?
We know when EA sent to patch in for approval. As much as what has happened with this game makes me angry, at this moment there is absolutely nothing EA can do about this situation. You gotta have Hope! (My Minnesota Vikings franchise)
After an incredible 2012 season ends with a Super Bowl win, Hope Turner and her Vikings are trying to prove that their performance was more than just a one-shot.Comment

Give me a break. EA knows exactly the status of the patch and where Microsoft and Sony are in their testing. And how do you figure EA is supposed to find out when the patch should be expected? Send their corporate ninjas into Sony and Microsoft headquarters and spy on them?

I think it's odd that you've minimized the people that are unhappy with the game to "30", and also limited it to people that post on a gaming message board.you guys cracks me up thinking that if the 30 people in here that claim are not buying the game next year will put a dent in what EA does with the game going forward, i lolz at you hard.
this year was a record sale for them, and with all the social media, and different ways they can find to get the game to a larger audience, sales are going to increase each year here on out.
Fact is, this year was NOT a record sale for them. Much like Madden, NCAA has been going down or staying around the same in sales for a few years now.
Fact is, if you repeatedly put out a poor product, sales will go down. This has been proven throughout history many, many times.
Fact is, sales of any updated product are mostly based off how the predecessor(s) have performed. NCAA Football was a staple in the sports gaming for years, and has lived off that for a while. With this years version being so poor, look for sales to be affected next year, not this year.
Fact is, when there IS increasing sales or even sales that stayed level despite poor quality, it has a LOT to do with more and more Xbox and Playstation systems being commonplace in homes with each and every year. It's like saying that people must love 3-D, because there's been so much money made off of 3-D movies the last couple years compared to the past. Of course the reason is, there's a lot more 3-D movies being made.Comment

fact is:
made a big splash out of the gates it seems to me.
fact is, if you don't belong to the OS community you don't know there are any potential issues with the game.
fact is, out of the hundreds of thousands of people that bought this game there is about a 2% +- that can find anything in the game to complain about."Not the victory but the action. Not the goal but the game. In the deed the glory."Comment

Would you mind sharing your sources on these my friend? If you think you need to belong to OS to notice the custom playbook glitches, the broken coach progression, freezes, etc. then you are living on another planet.Comment

BadAssHskr is right on this point. The majority of players are arcade style players. They don't care whether the db's stay in their zones or not. They want to run 4 streaks EVERY PLAY and rack up 100 points on their friends over and over. This is the truth. I have a dozen friends that play this game, and I am the only one who tweaks sliders to make the game more difficult and realistic, and I am also the only one who plays it like a real game. Most people don't know what it means to be champion...
