I love my NCAA games, but with problems like these, i'm not sure if i'm going to buy NCAA 13. I need my patch .

Did anyone else run into the mass-sub "glitch" of sorts? I did a mass sub-in of my 2nd team offense and defense, and a few plays later the first team was all back in. I had to do a mass substitution again--not sure what caused this issue.

Freezes when you try to advance into Year 2 Offseason Recruiting

Is that across all platforms? If so, I'm going to be annoyed. I just started my dynasty with my D-II school, and if I can't progress beyond year two, it is pretty much pointless.

Both our accounts are anecdotal though. I've yet to have the game freeze on me, doesn't mean nobody's game is freezing. You're playing with people who are complaining, doesn't mean everyone is.

Most of the errors are in online dynasty, which is probably the most popular game mode. So, if you haven't started your online dynasty with your friends yet, you aren't going to be experiencing many issues. I, however, have experienced almost all of the issues. I have had all 3 of my dynasties that have made it to offseason of year 1 delete themselves/fail to upload properly during the offseason or week 1 of year 2. We use a saved file to continue them and the one that failed week 1 of year 2 failed again in bowl season of year 2 where we couldn't advance it any further. I got transfer failed errors for 2 days even after switching commishs and all. So yeah, its pretty upsetting to put several weeks into a season improving your pitches and what not only to lose them and all of that time because a file doesn't upload correctly.

This has been the case since super-sim was first instituted I believe. In previous versions, I've sometimes simmed the defensive possessions and when I do a mass sub prior to that, once I come back out on the offense, the starters will be back in. Once it's late enough in the game, it stops doing it (for me anyway).

Ben didn't rule it out in mid-August, but then again, that was three weeks ago and we still haven't seen the second patch... He said there was still some stuff they wanted to work on, however, so it may happen.

Hope it drops tomorrow, but guess I will just continue playing other games and occasionally put this in if it doesn't.

This thread is hillarious. I wonder how many of the peole posting on this thread were the same people harrassing the few people who name the rosters every year, "when are the rosters dropping"? Also how many people on this thread complained about last year's issues and still bought this year's game? I agree the issues are frustrating, but I still like the game. With the patch this game will be awesome. I can also say that most OD's don't make it past the first season. People tend to stop and play by themselves with either offline dynasty or RTG (which is pretty cool this year). I understand these issues need to be fixed, but the only ones who really notice these and suffer are the "hardcore" and we've known for years EA does not focus on the "hardcore" when they make these games. That's why the out of the box rosters are so OVERRATED and recruits and and dynasty rosters tend to be rated a little bit better. The rosters are built for arcaders. Sure, EA will throw a few new additions or tweaks for the hardcore, but they know the majority of their sales come from casual or online gamers not us the "hardcore". So I'm not telling anyone not to be mad, but simply curb your enthusiam when you buy this game in the future, and understand what you're getting into. Hopefully that will ease the tension and anxiety that some of you feel year after year.

It wasnt for the patch cause that wouldve started before the game came up. This was at the press start screen... after I pressed start it said there was an error trying to upload the tuning update.
