North Carolina played 19 games in my dynasty

So I just simmed through my dynasty, it previously crashed so I was using an older backup to get to where I needed to be. I decided to save, and then sim to the end of the year.

North Carolina's record after their bowl game was 15-4 (13-1). Viginia, also ACC, was 5-12 (2-11). I am wondering if those two played each other a bunch or something.

It was really weird to see.

I've seen some messed up scheduling in my dynasty as well.

In my first year as Ohio State, Nebraska was taken off our schedule and replaced with a bye, and a game with Iowa was added late in the year.

Some MAC schools were playing 15 game seasons without making it into the CCG or a bowl game.

I hope the patch addresses this as well. Not sure if its is going to but it would make using custom conferences more enjoyable. Using custom conferences, I expanded all of the BCS conferences to 12 with a conference championship. After beginning the season, I noticed that the Big 12 and Big East teams had random number of conference games. For example, Texas had 12 scheduled games and 10 were conference games. In the same conference, TCU had 12 scheduled games and only 7 conference games.

I hope this is addressed...

The really weird thing, is if you counted, North Carolina only had 14 games in their schedule, the one you bring up by pressing Y (360). I loaded it and counted, nothing out of the ordinary.

Yet it says 15-4 in the rankings, conference rundown, etc.

I've seen this bug, sometimes manually simming a game sets the W/L record for 2 other teams and doesn't actually sim out the game so you can keep simming it. this bug has been in at least since 2010, it doesn't happen often and only happens if you sim, this year it seems a bit more prevalent especially during bowl seasons

Sorry to neg, but this is just another reason why NCAA doesn't have lasting appeal like last gen, imo. So many problems.

It's almost getting to the point that you just have to laugh at the quality, bug-wise, of this product. I am no code writer by any means, but are sports games just WAY more complex than other genres? It's time for EA to move to a 2yr development cycle......they simply cannot integrate the additions they want in 1 year and thoroughly test the game. They have proven this fact for 5+ years now.

I saw this and just laughed. I mean it would be awesome if college football played just as many games as NFL cause that means more excitement on Saturdays for us, but to deviate almost 5 games from basically the maximum of a total 14 games is just plan ridiculous. I put it up to EA being incompetent. Like one guy said, they may just need to go to a 2-year development cycle cause they obviously cant make the game that is intended and test it thoroughly.

This has nothing to do with the consoles....We had better sim stat logic on games for the Commodore 64 20 years ago. Never saw these issues with the PS2. This is just incompetence. First time since Bill Walsh football, that I did not buy an EA NCAA football game. Too many bugs, glitches, and errors in this product. It would appear that you have people who may be good at creating graphics trying to build the text sim portion of the game with no real understanding of the sport.

I have seen this as well. In my dynasty it was SMU, and they were also 15-4. There was nothing wrong with their schedule, but the wrong record was displayed. Is this because I used custom conferences?

There are all kinds of screw ups in scheduling especially with custom conferences. In my 16 team SEC dynasty in 10+ years at Alabama I only ever cycle through Kentucky, Vandy, FSU, and Georgia Tech for my east opponents (plus UT as permanent rival).
