As a MP enthusiast I hope I am wrong, but I'm starting to get an eerie feeling that this year improvements are mostly cosmetic.

I do like the fact that as a player you'll be rewarded for smart play, not just putting up gaudy stats.

1) We've seen very few screens, and one of them even hinted at a higher overall starting

2) In the Q&A thread it was said that the AI seems to play more intelligently as one of Aaron's teammates had 25 points.

3) It's honestly way to early to even hav an inkling of fear when the insight isn't even out yet and there's still more screens to see.

I can say it because it's a feeling not based on any logic what so ever. I'm a perssimist. I'm not drawing any conculsion until tomorrow, and hoping to be pleasantly proven dead wrong.

I second this. These screens are a tease with hints of what's new in MP. Better MP face creation, (possibly) higher, REALISITC overall to start with, Mock Drafts, interviews, PROMOTIONAL billboards, Sports Illustrated mag (I'm willing to bet milestones and success/failure, as well as being traded or signing a new contract, will possibly land you or the team on the SI cover). Combine that with already having post-game press conferences and (hopefully) the ability to land a sponsorship with ANY company, not just Jordan, and they're already adding to the realism and authenticity of actually being a player.

Seeing "Come Fly With Us" and "The Future Has Arrived..." really has me interested in becoming the star of a team instead of being a Robin. Lot of teams that are gonna need a PG face of the franchise...

That being said, I hope we can get some footage of MP, or even maybe have the college game and/or interview process as a demo, or part of it. Looking forward to the insight tomorrow, I imagine it'll be lengthy .

All of that is great(I'm not being facetious it's really great), but this isn't IMO going to enhance MP's replay value. There are still huge issues with progession, in game goals, longivity, and teammates AI/performance. Addressing these issues is what will make or break this mode not billboards.

I don't know good question. MP is the only mode I play. I think just the gameplay improvements are enough, but if none of my key issues get addressed maybe not.

I just purchased two games that's a different sport, by a different company and because their BAP mode is lacking I regret buying both. I don't need another coaster if you get what I'm saying. LOL Although my step son would play it so it wouldn't go to waste.

I don't really care if NOTHING new is added about MP other than it's already been announced(contracts, interviews etc etc).. All I care about is better OVR(already seen i Ronnie's screenie) in the beginning and have some intelligent players on the court.

So the new features yet to be shown. I didnt expect them to show any new stuff when he said they will be releasing 2 pics a day until Insight. If they would of released nothing but new pics and just explained the pics in the insight, I wont be anxious for the insight. I actually dont mind the way it has been released. Saving the best for last and just showing improved features.

I would at least rent it. I'm not sure what position you play but the post game will be very enjoyable. And if you're a guard, you're in treat for that too.

Much more "meat and potatoes" than other games, save for maybe The Show.
