Has anyone else tried this? How do I delete the first patch? Also could someone tell me who's roster i should use once I have completed this process?

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but if I have understood this right, here's what you have to do. Go to your HD drive and delete everything to do w/ NCAA '12, including rosters. Then put the game in as if you just bought it, then D/L the new patch. This should make the "tendency" thing work, though you will still have problems w/ No-Huddle.

As far as rosters, you can D/L a roster once the original roster maker has re-submitted his rosters post-patch... which I have no idea how we will know if they did this or not unless they post it here for us to see.

And again, if memory serves, and I can find this out rather easily, but EA said we wouldn't have to start over, that Custom Playbooks wouldn't have to be redone, that your current rosters would be fine. From what we are learning, this is not true. SMH

I also need confirmation from SEC, he's saying if you delete the first patch, no huddle works perfectly. I know SEC is a smart dude, so he wouldn't be lying about this.

Now that I watched the videos, I need a little more time with this. Hang tight while I do some more investigating.

Now that I watched the videos, I can see the issue is there and I have never used custom playbooks. It is not a big issue for me as I rarely use no huddle, but I can see it being a bit of an issue for those who like to run an up tempo offense from the spread.

but it only affects the spread, so it not like you can't run an effective offense from the no huddle.

1. Download rosters from locker.

2. Delete patch.

3. Go into game without dloading the patch.

4. Save previously dloaded rosters as a new file with a new name.

5. Exit and quit game.

6. Dload patch and the roster tendencies will now work

If I don't have the patch yet, should I go in and rename my rosters first, then d/l the patch?

wr blocking was definitely not fixed on all option plays .. speed options I know of, another guy mentioned triple option as well

Thing is, I almost believe with the online cheesing from 5 wide sets, this may not be an issue in EA's eyes. Unfortunately this could be a working as designed resolution EA has implemented to save online play.

They may not have seen another option.

How, I thought this was the last patch?


Also about the no huddle, if it only effects the game when it comes to custom plays books then that fine with me, I don't use CP any who. I some will argue "well I use Them" That's great, but using there phrase broken is not right.

If it is only effecting Custom playbooks, its not broken.
