Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but if I have understood this right, here's what you have to do. Go to your HD drive and delete everything to do w/ NCAA '12, including rosters. Then put the game in as if you just bought it, then D/L the new patch. This should make the "tendency" thing work, though you will still have problems w/ No-Huddle.

As far as rosters, you can D/L a roster once the original roster maker has re-submitted his rosters post-patch... which I have no idea how we will know if they did this or not unless they post it here for us to see.

And again, if memory serves, and I can find this out rather easily, but EA said we wouldn't have to start over, that Custom Playbooks wouldn't have to be redone, that your current rosters would be fine. From what we are learning, this is not true. SMH

Ok when you say delete everything does that include the stuff I bought off of marketplace and does that also include deleting the downloaded version of the game completely off the hard drive?

Does anyone know if anyone will be making post patch rosters, or is there no need for that as long as i delete everything and download again?

Ok so I went back and checked, the speed option plays and triple option plays the wr the play art are always assigned to streak

then when you get into the play, some plays they still show streak (yellow line)

some plays they have a greyed out line (which i assumed meant to block)

now i have tried to hot route the receivers to block and it isnt possible, so what happens is every single time they are gonna run right by the db and youre gonna be a sitting duck to and db that is there waiting.

and maybe I'm wrong, I just practiced shotgun spread 4wr speed option against dime cover 2 man

the two outside dbs always followed their wr downfield and the receivers would look to block them downfield, the two slot dbs always stayed up looking for the pitch as if they knew thats what was being called. the slot receivers always ran down field and looked to block the safeties

so what was supposed to be man on man , turned out to look like some kinda zone

just go to practice mode and do a 4 wide set speed option, against dime cover 2 man and youll see what I'm saying

design flaw,bug,comp cheating by knowing the play, or me not knowing football down to a T... it just doesnt feel right

Sorry for this n00bish question (I've been enjoying the game) but I'm well into year 3 of my dynasty do I need to restart my dynasty with post patch named rosters for the tendency bug to be fixed? And if I just play through 2 more seasons wouldn't the whole thing be moot as I'll have a complete roster turnover by then anyways?

I'm actually more concerned by the no huddle bug as I use it often at the end of the half. If I use ask coach play calling mode only does that even affect me?

we are using the default 50 in mine - are you seeing anything that needs tweaked or have any thoughts on what you now see changed? thanks!

The thing that really stands out is how good the safeties are now at reacting to the pass and tracking the ball in the air. Before, they would actually run ahead of the receiver or not react at all to a receiver in their zone. Now, they are monsters. The deep ball is covered very well now. It is still achievable but in a realistic manner.

The changes are most noticeable in CPU vs CPU. I have one going right now and some of the things I have seen, have just blown me away.

QBs run now when there is nothing there. They don't just sit in the pocket and take the sack. This is really nice to see.

With that being said, I am starting my slider testing over again from scratch. The changes are just that big.

Keep in mind, I stated that someone could correct me if I was wrong, I am only going off of what I have read from other gamers. As far as deleting things... no, just delete the game stuff... like any dynasty, highlights, profile, rosters, etc... Then re-download the rosters and rename them... for some reason that I don't get, renaming them is key... then put the game in and D/L the patch.

Again... if someone knows something better, please correct this. As far as I know and based off what I have read, this is how people are getting things like Tendency to work, though apparently, the No-Huddle problem will still be there. However, Dewiel, from EA, has posted here and he says they are aware of that and looking into it. Nice to have someone from EA here keeping us informed.

I have a dynasty going, will the update apply for that dynasty? I'm in week 2 season 1, and how can I check to see? I'll be honest, i'm not all that familiar with what changes were actually made.

Yes, the triple option and speed option plays out of the flexbone are not being executed properly.

A lot of the option runs out of Oregon's book seem to work ok. And you still have the psychic CPU. I was using Nevada, and ran a power option, and the LB went right to the RB, the DT, and DE just happened to be slanted to the option side (mind you it's a balanced formation) and I had flipped the play....so you gotta love the psychic ability of the CPU still.

Other things I have noticed...on option plays where there's a pitch, probably 15-20% of the time, the RB just watches the pitch go right by him for some reason.

lastly...EA SPORTS...GET RID OF JUMP THE SNAP!!!!!! It's bad enough we gotta deal with psychic CPU, it's downright awful when you do mix up the snap count, that the CPU still jumps the snap about 80% of the time, and then warps right to the area where you're going to run. It's bogus, and it's cheater.

I said I'd give this a shot after the patch came out, but I'm very much toying with the idea of just going to gamestop and trading this piece of crap game in.

Now when I run option plays the defenders just stand there even after I have crossed the LOS. I ran it twice in my OD against the CPU and both were untouched TD's.
