Obviously this is the place to post about any bugs and/or glitches you encounter in the full version of NHL12. Here's how we want it done, straight from the top dogs:

This is not the place to complain. If you are having the same bug as someone else, use the THANKS button on the bottom right hand corner of the post to show that you are also facing the same problem.

THE ONLY POSTS IN THIS THREAD THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE THE FOLLOWING TEMPLATE IN THEM ARE QUESTIONS FROM THE NHL DEVELOPMENT TEAM.

Whats the bug - No fights in cpu v cpu mode

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in: Play Now, Season, Be a GM etc

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? N/a..despite turning up all of the cpu sliders for agression, hitting, penalties and fighting on max there are still no fights in cpu v cpu..

How often can the bug be reproduced - all cpu v cpu games

Do you have video or pictures? N/a

Simply the cpu doesn't seem to initiate a fight, therefore in cpu v cpu mode it is practically impossible for this to happen. I have altered rosters by upping players aggression and discipline to no avail. NHL 10 & 11 were also like this and I reported this then, can EA please do something about it this time? Otherwise, and although I'm in a minority as a cpu v cpu 'player' it ruins the mode.

Whats the bug? - Freeze of game (not console). Camera stopped. Can still hear background noise, no reaction from controller, pause, start button etc. But could access XMB to quit game.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? During Play now, offline, Pro, hardcore. Leafs vs Capitals.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
Late tie up goal in the last minute, last period. (The home team, CPU, was the team that scored)
Camera quickly zoomed/panned away from the "south" goal where it all happened to the "north" goal and just stopped. Will try to recreate.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Will try, but not easy.

Do you have video or pictures?
No.

I got the retail game yesterday and second game was a freeze.
Played the winter classic intro game, no probs.

Then fixed the settings (didn't touch any sliders, only chose Pro - hardcore, and adjusted camera angle to custom 1)

Tried a play now game, and in the third period it was 2-1, and the CPU scored a late tie (about 18 minutes). In the same second the goal was scored the camera quickly panned from the goal (south) to the goal up (north) and the game frooze. Could still hear the crowd noises, but completely locked down. PS3 didn't freeze though, so could choose "quit game" from XMB.

Ah, yeah... this was on PS3, EU version, play now, hardcore (custom camera - 9 minutes)


After that I played BaGM, about 5-6 games, no problems whatsoever.

VISUAL options(custom cameras also) are not saved in Be a Pro gamemode.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....)

Be a Pro.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? I have to re-adjust visual options everytime I load my saved Be a Pro. (yes i have saved the options and game after altering visual settings.)

How often can the bug be reproduced? Everytime when saved Be a Pro -mode has been loaded.

Do you have video or pictures?

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? after 2 Games -just simulating to game 3= freez (on pic freez is Oct. 11)

ATTENTION! i only got a freeze if its the ONLY SAVE FILE (Season1)
If i start a new Season or have 2,3 or more Seasons saved, there is NO freeze at all!

Whats the bug? All of a sudden no players could gain possession of the puck (neither myself or the CPU's players). Both teams players would skate towards the puck acting like they wanted to take possession but none could gain possession. They all just skated in a huge cluster around the puck until I picked up a slashing penalty which stopped play. After play resumed all was normal.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Not sure what I did or if I can recreate it

How often can the bug be reproduced? Happened only once

Whats the bug? Custom music is bugged, as the game doesn't play music set as Home Win Game or Away Win Game. Instead, the music set as Intermission plays. I guess the game treats the end of a game as intermission.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? Mode doesn't matter, though I only tested Play Now, Playoff, HUT, Shootout and BaP.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Simple way to test it would be to set Home Win Game and Away Win Game to No Music, and Intermission to a custom song. That song should play at the end of a game.

How often can the bug be reproduced? Happened at the end of every game so far.

Do you have video or pictures? No, but I guess I could record a video if necessary.

Failure to acknowledge wrap around goal.

I did a wrap around and the puck was in the net but it didn't count for a goal. Apparently so.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Happend twice.

Actually you can tell from the shadows it's in the net anyway.

I took a shot at a wide open net,the goalie brought his glove up,the puck went over the glove but then disappeared into the glove.

Seen it once.

Whats the bug? No Penalty calls if i drive hard into the goalie after the whistle. Lack of penalties! All Penalty Sliders MAXED!

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....) pro, allstar, offline Season Mode

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Drive/crash hard into the Goalie after whristle called-no Penalty at all and i have the "After Whistle Penalty Slider" at MAX! Lack of penalties in normnal Gameplay 2. AllPenalty Slider at MAX.

How often can the bug be reproduced? 8 of 10 times

You cant do anything under PROFILE MANAGEMENT, it just says "your profile is active" --- i dont have an imported NHL11 Profile File on my PS3´s HDD

Whats the bug? - Buggy "New Tuner Set" Update

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in?- all

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
in the Main Menue it says there is a new Tuner Set update, i click the button to download, it looks like its downloading. After downloading-it still says there is an update available. I check in SETTINGS if there is a new Version Number but it still says v.1.0

It happend when the announcer talked I guess. Yes it's recreateable.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Any time the player is referenced.

Hate to inform that my game froze while outside an actual game. Playing PS3 Early Release.

Whats the bug? Game freeze. Unresponsive. Required hard reset of PS3.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....) i wasCreate-A-Player

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? I was scrolling through the generic faces

How often can the bug be reproduced? Havent tried to reproduce but seems random
UPDATE: it happened again while scrolling faces.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....) offline Season Mode in Custom Music Menue

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? im in my Season Mode Menue, just want to go into Custom Music Menue (btw, why is there another Custom Music Menue in Season Mode???) and "click" the Game Freezes. I have to exit and restart the Game.
