Hopefully defense plays a bigger role so Melo isn't the best player on the game because he has the best offensive arsenal.

LeBum will be the highest overall rated player in 2k12....UNLESS, Clutch, consistency, and loyalty play a HUGE role in the rating system this year....

I think it'll go as follows:

1.) LeBron James - Even if his clutch is low, I don't think it'll weigh his OVR down enough to be less than a 97 OVR. I think his defensive prowess and having an influence on any team he's a part of (ie. Cleveland) will keep him at the top.

2.) Dwyane Wade - If 2K uses last year's ratings as a backbone for most ratings, Wade is pretty on par with last season, minus a drop in stats (LeBron/Chris)
96 OVR

3.) Kobe Bryant - With Kobe's fall in the playoffs and decline in stats, I don't think he'll be as good as Wade overall. He'll still be the closest to Jordan in the game in terms of skill set.
95 OVR

4.) Dirk Nowitzki - No comment

5.) Chris Paul/Derrick Rose (not sure which) - Both had stellar playoff performances. CP3 had an amazing series against the Lakers and a typical season we can expect of CP3. With Derrick Rose's season being so historical, I don't see him being anything less than a 94/95 OVR.

The Lebron jokes are just corny now, They were funny after the finals but now it's like you know somebody is going to use the same joke they told their friends who all laughed at how you cleverly changed lebron into lebrick or lebum or lequeen( Lebum is kinda funny tho). But i think d-rose will be a beast and i hope Kobe is toned down, he isn't that #8 Kobe who was dunking on the whole team, Kobe is a smarter and older player now, he shouldn't be as fast or dunk in traffic all crazy like in 2k11. Dirk has to get some props tho and Kevin Durant of course will be abusing everybody.

1: kobe bryant 97 ovr
he still has the best midrange game in the nba, is a great 3 point shooter (ranked 16 all time), one of the best pure scorers, can pass, post game is amazing, and footwork, clutch, is in one of the best G defenders, he didnt even hav a bad season last season sense wen is 25, 5, 5, a bad season?

2: lebron james 96 ovr
he had a good season, but his finals performance was horrible! cmon 17 ppg in the finals, isnt as clutch as he used to be, isnt that good of a jump shooter, but is one of the best players at attacking the basket

3: d wade 96 ovr
he also had a good season not his best but good, his stats went down a lil but thats because of bosh, and ballhog lebron, wade is a great defender, can score and attack the basket, needs to improve shooting tho

4: dirk 94 ovr
had a regular dirk season, nuthing specil, but his performance in the playoffs/finals is the reason i think he shuld be 4th best rated

5: d rose 93 ovr
had a great season, won mvp, can score, pass, attack the basket, and now shoot, but his defense is horrible and has bad shot sellaction at times

i also think kevin durant will be a 93 ovr
