I'd say a couple first rounders, and mayyyybe a corner, or DL. That's just me though. There are plenty of opinions here, I'm sure.

I just wanted to write there is no fair trade for a young up and coming LT. Then I realized the Eagles got Jason Peters for even less a few years ago. Granted he had a contract dispute with the Bills but they still got him for only a late 1st, 6th and future 4th. That was a steal.

As a general rule, teams will not trade up and coming players. If you're determined to do it though, I would say 2 1st rounders and a high 70's player at a position of need for the broncos.

good luck getting that trade to go. I would definitely go with 2 1st rounders and maybe a 3rd or a player

Pretty much what everyone else said, if you want to play fair and make it a simmed trade a young up and coming LT like Clady would be 2 1st round picks + something small.

not necessarily true, I put Shaun Ellis on the trading block and got offered a rookie WR with 78 rating and A potential

Shaun Ellis doesn't qualify as *up n coming*

                      Expected. You're a Steelers fan.

There is no realistic trade that would happen just involving picks. A proven young player is worth far more than two or even three first round "maybes".

Especially at left tackle. You would have to trade an Adrian Peterson type player in real life to get a Clady.

I don't know about that, the Broncos did get a truck load of mostly pure picks for Cutler, although they only traded him because he was whining. I imagine they could have gotten even more normally. That is a similar type of player value, and even the same team.

There was far more to that trade than just money, or a contract dispute though. There was a clash between the QB and head coach, and had McDaniels not been there, there is no way the Broncos trade Cutler.

It was also not just mostly pure picks as they got a QB that had a similar rating back in Madden, although in RL, most people think Cutler has more physical skill than Orton, but most agree that Orton has a better game overall.

Stat wise, they have been very similar.

Not denying that I simply brought it up as an example of a similar value, in that case a QB normally has more value (the most) however that was an odd forced situation and it still resulted in a large deal. Regardless, offtrack.

I meant in real life! And judging from the number of free agent rookies I pick up with A potential, I don't think the CPU trade logic includes potential.
