Re: The one thing that is I feel that is missing in the show
Sorry but I couldn't disagree more with the OP. IMO player personalities is one of the best things this game has to offer. Most of the batting stances and pitching motions are down pat. I truly feel like each player has a personality. It's actually creepy how playing with each player is so different and cool. Also it's one thing for the NBA to have players actual personalities in a video game. With NBA video games you can see every player on the court all of the time. This brings out every person's character. In MLB video games you only see a select few of the players at a time. Most of the time it's just the batter, pitcher, and catcher. The only way to show their character is through batting stances, pitching motions, etc, and they have that already. They spend the perfect amount of time updating this stuff already.
Also they do show players emotions on the mound. Brian Wilson goes crazy when he completes the save and does the X with his arms as celebration. Also Jose Valverde (most intense closer of them all) goes nuts when he completes a save. In fact when he's brought into the game Vasgersian says "and here comes the ever entertaining Jose Valverde." They capture the emotion of the players so well already.
