I'm confused, is this a patch or tuner update? I never was asked to download a title update, but got asked to get the tuner set. With the tuner it fixed the rosters. Idk about gameplay, I havent played a game since the update.

Id like to know if they ever plan on releasing the real patch.. you know, the one that was supposed to fix the freezing issues... because this one sure didn't. I sure did not sit around waiting two months just to have the tendencies fixed.

First off I think the patch is very good and I applaud the efforts of EA to listen to the consumers and make necessary fixes.

That being said, there is one bug that has really irked me. When I run a shotgun pitch-option play, often a cornerback, safety, linebacker, or combo thereof reacts very late or never moves at all. I had a video I was going to post of my slow quarterback busting a 50 yard TD run because the cornerbacks on both sides of the field and a safety never moved a muscle from the start of the play through the celebrations, however I cannot find the video. This bug I saw three times in that game and once in a later game.

I hope this is an easy fix and will make it into a desired 3rd patch.

Since my game still freezes, I consider this a fail for a patch. The thing that I actually needed fixed so that I could actually play wasn't fixed, so I do not plan on playing this game.

Has anyone else seen the AI trying to kick ********-ly long field goals towards the end of halves? This is ridiculous.

Not to mention the frame-rate dips. I like how they improved the gameplay and everything, but goddam, the special teams stuff is a nightmare

I've seen that situation as well. It definetly came with the patch because I've never seen them behave like that prior to it.

DB's don't move after the patch!

Okay, EA's patch wasn't a patch, it was a band-aid. I applied water and the whole thing fell off. NCAA 12 is bleeding all over the place, worse then before.

The DBs will literally just stop in their tracks where they would normally make their amazing 20ft swat. They won't even put their hands up, they will let the receiver get completely open while they are frozen.

If EA stops the DB from performing a certain logic, they have to program in alternate logic for the DB to carry out, otherwise they just stop in their tracks.

I don't have any of the problems people are complaining about. My custom playbook is great I just created a new one post patch. My audibles and no-huddle works fine also my game has never frozen. I wonder is this a case of a very vocal minority. the game play is solid post patch i love this game. The d gives me a good challenge on Heisman for those who said the d is not reacting fast enough on option plays what difficulty setting are you playing on.

I didn't have any freezing problems prior to the 2nd patch being released. I tried to play an online dynasty game against another user and it would freeze right as they broke the huddle for the 1st play of the game. It was a bowl game if that matters. It happened 6 or 7 times in a row. Is there any fix for this? Anyone else having this problem?

Why am I not surprised... The tuner they pushed out to fix coaching progression (which should have been in the patch) did not work either. Started my dynasty with only 4 "A" coaches, and about 10-15 "B +" coaches. Year 2 on my dynasty and there are 37 A+ coaches now.

So lets keep score here. My major issues/complaints about the initial game release.

1. Tendencies - Fixed, but you have to jump through hoops to get the fix to work.
2. Random game freezes - Not fixed
3. Coach's progressing too fast and too high - Defiantly not fixed

So, 33% fixed.... Two months for that? In any other business, people would be heading to the unemployment line for those kind of results.

EDIT - Just found out they did not fix the transfer request freeze either.. That one should have been easy to pin down. So make that 25% fixed.

And on top of that, the patch broke several new things. I hope EA appreciated my money for the last decade, because they have seen the last of it.

Yup, I got my first true truck animation when using Army's fullback the other day. I was like whoa--that actually works for the human now?!

My sense is that power runners now are better able to trigger those kinds of animations, which is a great thing. I've noticed that little pluggers like UMD's Meggett does more plowing and dragging of defenders than before. The animations are cool.
