Starting noticing this a little more often as I play. This just started to occur post patch #2 as well. They'll miss a tackle and just freeze in mid air till the play is over.

I have seen them freeze completely from the snap as well. Ive personally only seen this on certain options play and its usually the cornerback. I had it happen before patch #2 myself. Only once, but it was the CPU LB on a goalline pass - he froze just after my RB blocked him and just hung there in the air. It was very Matrix looking.Comment

I had one yesterday in my offline dynasty where a linebacker froze in mid-air after missing a tackle.Comment

That sounds a little different than what we are talking about. We are seeing defenders not react at all to qb's or rb's passing right by them as they either stand still or move slightly side to side like they are in a zone. I think this mainly occurs in option plays. Here is another example mc watch number 12 of Michigan on the far left:
