    Stanley Cup Celebration

They cut out almost the entire celebration. As soon as the cup gets handed to the Captain it cuts to the End Game menu. What is up with that!?

I just played a one game Battle For The Cup and noticed this, and I'm pretty sure I didn't press any buttons to skip to the menu.

I'm hoping it's because I lost the game instead of winning.

*Edit, yep, that was the case. I won the cup my next time around and I got the whole ceremony, but it's the same as NHL 11

i guess EA will concentrate more in presentation (including SC celebration) for NHL 13.

We can only hope so. They've barely touched it over the past 5 years.

I know they haven't touched it in awhile but its still a pretty good presentation, what more could you ask for?

As great as The Show is, all they have is a dogpile when you win the World Series. No trophy, nothing.

At least NHL is still better than that.

True. But that's the final thing where NHL is better than the Show at. You'd think an elite title like the show would actually show the championship trophy.

The SC celebration is pretty cool. The rest of the presentation needs a facelift.

Well, at least it's good news that if you win, you get the entire Cup ceremony. But, heck...if I made it all the way in BEAGM to the Finals, I want to see the whole thing, win, or lose.

As someone else said a few days ago...maybe adding the action tracker this year, cause them to trim back on some of the other presentation stuff. Three stars, Cup ceremony, etc...

me too... even if lose the game i want to see the celebration (much improved for goodness sake). but to add realism...if you lost the game, you see your players frustration, probably sad faces??? and at the dug-out, you'll see the coach or gm congratulating them and challenging for the following year. thereby, we will be "inspired' again to play the 82 game season... *chuckle* i mean another season heheheh.

I remember a game called NHL All star 95 and I believe you could skate around with the cup. That would be cool to have.

This x 10. Best idea (not that you are the first one to suggest it) for the Cup celebration.

It would give so much more incentive to win the Cup in BAGM or Be A Pro modes. Giving the user complete control over the entire thing would be quite awesome. You could start with the captain of the team, and the rest of the team waits in a group near center ice. The user can control the captain and have him skate it all over the ice, with buttons to kiss and hoist the cup. When the user is ready, he could skate over to the group of players and pick out who he wants to have the Cup next. Once the Cup is passed off, the captain would skate to another spot on the ice, where players who have skated with the Cup would wait in a group.

This whole scenario would be repeated until the entire team has skated with the Cup, or if the user wanted to end it early. Then, the team picture would happen and the celebration could wrap up.

Probably just a pipe dream, but it's worth getting some attention.

I think it would be great, too.

After playing 82 games plus the playoffs, the Cup presentation couldn't possibly be too long, imo.
