    So I don't know if it has been talked about on here looked couldn't find it plus I'm on my iPhone but Chris collinswoth talks about the new rule with overtime about kicking a feildgoal would give the other team an opportunity to score just after he said that green bay kicks a field goal and tah dah green bay wins what happened with the new rule?

    I just thought the team who won the toss couldn't win with a FG on thier first drive. If you force them to punt and you kick a FG then you win. Its just so both teams have a chance to score

          This is correct. If you are the COIN TOSS WINNER and end up kicking a FG you have to send it back to the other team. They get 1 chance, and 1 chance only.

          Im not sure if it is limited to just the playoffs though... I played a game just last night in exhibition mode and the other team won the coin toss and kicked a FG. They then kicked the ball to me and I had 1 drive to either score a TD or get a FG.

          I didnt.. so I lost

            IIRC EA added this rule to exhibition mode games too.

              i've played 3 or 4 ot games and they have always ended on a fg or td i never saw the game keep going to give the cmp a chance win in exhibtion i have even won the coin toss and lost it and all time first person score wins.
