They said its on the "same release schedule as last year"..goin by that..the demo WILL be out next week..tuesday or thursday is my guess.

The guesstimate is 9/20/2011. They are releasing alot of information and we have a control vid and insight coming early next week(maybe monday)so I think after those the demo will drop(Tuesday the 20th). Ronnie said 7-14 days before launch and the 20th is 14 days before October 4th.

Magic 8-Ball says you are right I would imagine 20th though, since the 27th is getting very close to the release party, and it's generally been out before that.

Hmm, or was it last year? I remember not playing the demo much, could be because it was after the release party?

Just got an xbox in july and my free gold pass is up. Does silver let me get the demo when it first comes out or do I have to have gold?

You have to have Gold to get the demo when it first comes out, I believe.

yep, you can get it with silver but not for the first few days, maybe a week it is only available for gold
