Re: Freezing Issue Thread

Quote from one of the developers on the EA forum:

Hi all,

First off, I want to assure everyone in the forums that your issues are not being ignored. Just because someone is not in here posting a response to every message does not mean we aren't aware of your issues. The team here is all hands on deck trying to reproduce your issues.

What we need from people who are seeing issues is information. We have testers and developers here trying to reproduce your freezes and crashes, but alot of times we are just not seeing it. This could be because you did a step that we haven't done. With NHL12 being as big a title as it is, there are many variations of sliders and settings that you may have set that we need to know when trying to reproduce your issues.

Going forward, when posting in this thread about a crash or a freeze, please give us AT LEAST the following info.

Console:
Online or Offline:
Which game mode were you in:
Wired or Wireless connection:
What did you notice right before you froze or crashed:
Where did the freeze or crash occur (in gameplay? in a screen? NIS sequence? please be speicfic):

If you are experiencing a crash and have posted in this forum, please check your PM's. The dev team will be reaching out specifically to users and requesting more information.

Thank you.
Not trying to sounds disrespectful toward EA, but isn't this something that should have been taken care of by the QA department at EA Canada?

I mean I know that they can't find EVERY bug before release but com'on, I got a freeze on my copy within 15 games.

How come it has become the norm for EA to release games, and let the masses be their free beta testers where they might or might not even fix the problems?

Something it just really wrong with this attitude they have about this IMO.....
