Yeah this is by far the biggest problem of the game. I will not buy another EA sports college football game until they make the college atmosphere realistic.

Whilst I agree w/ you on the atmosphere... let us not forget game play. Game play needs a complete and total overhaul... just as commentary and atmosphere. No more sacrificing one for the other. Or... like this year... having everything screwed up.

Demand more.

Its pretty decent atmosphere but not worth a thread. I can think of much better night game atmospheres...LSU, Auburn, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Florida, Penn State, Oregon, just to name a few...

Is it possible to truly replicate those atmospheres? Maybe but so far no game has come close IMO.

But speaking of atmosphere, is it just me or does the game feel more quiet overall than in years past? The crowd seems to react OK to everything going on, but it just feels quieter. Same with fight songs, too. Is there an audio option to switch to more of an 'on field' environment, where the crowds/bands/sound effects are more prominent?

Atmosphere and gameplay should be improved concurrently. There is no reason to exclude either from the development process. I must admit, though, that if another year passes with sound like this, whomever is in charge of sound needs to be canned.

Forget the atmosphere how about the defense...... and DBs actually jumping with WRs to try and high point under thrown balls. If you underthrow a ball in NCAA12 the WR jumps but the DB stays glued to the ground

thats what i was thinking!! why cant they just add real life commentary? like the actual sound of the commentators talking over 100,000 people like a real broadcast is going on...why cant they record their lines while a real life crowd is in the background??

I agree with you 100% but a different view/sound in this game would make us forget some of the small things...yes gameplay is important..they need to fix both...but we would be in awww of the presentation!

Half the fun of dynasty for me is picking schools with cool fight songs, since, you know, I light up the score board and hear it so much.

But if they're going to be so quiet, there's no point in even worrying about it.
