Craziest/Saddest Injuries you have ever seen in Madden? (any year)

So yeah, for me it was whichever year Jake Long was a rookie, his first game of the preseason, he suffered a Career ending Fractured Vertebrae. I felt bad, then i realised he got 35 million guaranteed... Poor Dolphins.

i watch people get injured then go to the replays and nothing happens except them just fall over, never a realistic sprain or injury

Once in a contract year Reggie Bush had the best yr of is career and shed the bust label then broke his vertebrae in the second to last game of the season.

Something similar happened to me in an online franchise: Steven Jackson - career ending injury - Fractured Vertebrae. I wanted to cry...haha

Way back in Madden '01 on the PS2, I had a beast LB named Ronald Rojas (whom I always thought sounded like a Columbian drug dealer). Anyways, guy was like 6'4 255, and he suffered season ending injuries within the first 4 games of 4 consecutive seasons. Only reason I remember something so seemingly innocuous is because it was so odd.

Released him after that 4th season. He was like 30, and I decided I needed someone who wasn't made out of glass. Guy was Bob Sanders-esque.

I had a similar thing happen to my create a player QB back on madden 06. In the old gen madden, if you got injured, your injury rating would drop. So after 2 season enders in a row, his rating was something like 35. Sucked because i made him a 81 OVR rookie and built him up to a 99 OVR. Got 5 seasons out of him, but after the 3rd season ender in a row i released him.

Just glad this happens to other people as well!

07 I think and Mike Vick scrambled about 3 yards and got hit stuck by someone on the Saints. Broken Vertabrae. Luckily he managed to walk off the field by himself.

Way back in the Sega Genesis days, I'd see someone get a broken leg, and be out for two weeks!!!

I haven't seen any career ending injuries this years game, but *** **** sydney rice... If he gets tackled he gets injured.

Started a franchise with the Lions and in the first preseason game Stafford breaks his arm, out for four weeks. He comes back, and in the first drive of the game he breaks his arm again. I quit the franchise.

Madden '10 Jamarcus Russell suffered a dislocated ankle....and played the next week.

Madden 05 or 06 Jamie Sharper made a standard every day tackle, and suffered a broken hip that ended his career.
