Yeah the problem with that though is , in real life , you can create your own lane and he had plenty of lane if he beats his man off the dribble (which by the way SEVERAL not as nearly skilled players can do , just not in 2k)

Still trying to figure out your point, let me give it a try, Ronnie could not drive to the lane with Rondo because their was no lane to drive and because he played horribly and some how that is a flaw in the game ?PSN=Coolcas7Comment

Re: NBA 2K12 Video - Los Angeles Clippers vs. Boston Celtics (OS Exclusive)
There is still some problems, but I love it. Mainly because the clippers are my favorite team though haha. I am really excited at how blake griffin looked, I hope he is getting the superstar attention he deserves. His ratings were so bad last year it wasn't even funny :/
but the game looks good and the main thing I like so far is how smooth the game looks, its ridiculous
I think blake griffin might be one of my Create a Legend picks for this year! straight up beast!http://www.youtube.com/user/Lumberjack33x

that sure doesn't look like Mo Williams to me. That is way off.
*EDIT* went through the thread and glad other ppl noticed it too. It's just way off...hell Mo doesn't even have that much hair on his head and is pretty much bald.Last edited by apollooff320; 09-15-2011, 11:01 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K12 Video - Los Angeles Clippers vs. Boston Celtics (OS Exclusive)
you're tellin me its hard to make a left hand lay up?I don't like how he went to the left-hand on that. I've always thought that the off-hand success rate around the basket was/is way too high in 2K games. That is an extremely difficult shot yet it goes in at a high clip.
Outside of that I wasn't too wowed by the video. That's not to say it was bad, merely that I have a higher expectations from 2K.Xbox: got1coach313

Re: NBA 2K12 Video - Los Angeles Clippers vs. Boston Celtics (OS Exclusive)
When 2k11 came out last year there was one thing that really bothered me about the game and it was the walk up/player with the ball (ex: pg at the top of the key pointing at his defenders to get out of the way etc.) animations being completely removed. When i saw the vid, I did notice rondo walking but it just wasn't what I was looking for.
What I loved about those animations were that they made you feel like you were controlling the pace of the game as certain guys, almost as if they had their own signature walk up animations. It was a real cool touch.
I thought they would fix and put all those animations back into the game and even add more but that walk up animation seemed very generic and robotic. The old ones seemed very life-like and i hate to use the term, but they had "swagger". It only a little detail but I def thought those would be addressed this year.Last edited by johnnyg713; 09-16-2011, 12:13 AM.Comment

Re the Ray E. Gordon thing
Gordon ran in a straight line, Ray at about 2 or 3 angles
So... slower Ray, at angles doesnt quite beat a faster EG in a straight line
Shortest distance between two points = straight lineComment

The only bad thing about that sequence was charge or a blocking foul not being called.PSN=Coolcas7Comment

Re: NBA 2K12 Video - Los Angeles Clippers vs. Boston Celtics (OS Exclusive)
havnt read through the thread but im going to be completely honest...and i know im going to catch flack for this but in my honest opinion THIS particular footage didnt look all that "new" to me. I seen a little bit of the extra movement in the post position briefly..i seen what looks to be a new iso-animated crossover from ray allen..and i THINK i seen a faster pull-up jumper from Paul Pierce. Outside of that..this looks to play alot like 2k11. Now im not saying i expect a drastic change in gameplay this year but juding by this vid and this vid alone, i think people are overreacting on how "amazing" it looks compared to 2k11. It really doesnt look THAT much different at all...in my opinion atleast.
I think its important that i be honest with my post and i think everybody should as well...i get the sense some of you guys kind of overdo it with your assesment and give the developers kind of a false judgement. I think that can only hurt us in the long run with future games and future improvements. I loved 2k11 even with its problems so dont get me wrong. But im hoping and expected to see more DYNAMIC post moves that are more manually useful rather than a animation that causes another animation to happen semi-automatically.
Im also really really hoping manually controlled man on man defense works better this year. Last year it was extremely hard to consistantly stay in front of your man online and forced me to play off ball defense more than i wanted.
I also wanted to see more fast stop and pop uComment

Re: NBA 2K12 Video - Los Angeles Clippers vs. Boston Celtics (OS Exclusive)
come on 23, I know it's a video game and it will never be perfect and 100% realistic but Gordon got crossed and he shouldn't be able to run to the hoop before Allen. Just no way to me. That's just a flaw in recovery system
like I said it is a video game but imagine sth like this happen in real game - no way..if you get beat you get beat - you're 1-2 steps behind (always)NBAComment
