How Defensive players get offensive stats

I think i figured out why defensive players have passing touchdowns and recieiving yards and all that weird ish...

I was playing a franchise game and scored a touchdown with under 2 mins left in the first half. I usually supersim the extra point and kickoff. After returning to the game after supersimming those two things the players that were on the field when i scored the touchdown were still on the field but this time my offense was on defense, and their d was playing offense...You could see them running from the far endzone where i scored to lineup and snap the ball

Jared allen completed a pass for about 70 yards to a defensive lineman named edwards -_- and then they no huddled, they threw an incomplete pass, after that things returned to normal

Maybe for some reason when the computer sims the games this glitch happens which causes defensive players to actually get those stats

In mine its says Marcel Dareus is 1-1 passing with 9 yards. Wierd because I never simmed or put him in at QB.

I noticed that after a punt, the offense went no-huddle. I ended up getting a sack using Robbie Gould. It was pretty damn funny seeing this 5'8" guy going up against 300 lb. lineman. He got right past them, too!

I've noticed that when using custom playbooks, if I keep hitting the "A" button (XBOX 360) after a kickoff so I can skip cutscenes, about half the time my offense will take the field on defense, or my defense takes the field on offense.

I think hitting "A" makes it try and load too quickly and confuses the system.

Excellent. One more issue with custom playbooks.

I keep having defensive players with a completion after each game but I've never actually noticed one of them in at QB.

I have not noticed any defensive players with compleations or attemps or anything but I haven;t looked that close. I guess I need to check my stats more often.

In my niners chise, Ray McDonald (starting DE) went 1 for 1 in passing for 49 yards.

I never super-simmed, never put him in the game on offense. But hey, 1 for 1 for 49 yards, maybe i should bench Alex

Strangely enough, exactly the same player and same stats that happened in my 1st year of my 49ers chise.

I can half confirm that. I had this issue for the first time yersterday. Usually I do not use Gameflow but I did yesterday and rushed through all the cut-scenes and stuff, because I just wanted to test, how much faster Gameflow would be.
Result: 1 for 1 for I can't remember yards for one of my D-linemen.
BTW: NO custom playbook, PS3, using the Bears

Re: How Defensive players get offensive stats

it is because your defender is in the same "circle or triggerzone as the Qb when he completes the pass

ex. Def 1 near qb 1
qb1 hit by def1 pass completes anyways
qb1 + def 1 will get pass completetion

just a little error in the code and trigger zones
