Will probably happen eventually, but patch #2 just came out, if there is a third patch it won't be out for at least another couple months. -

Until one is actually downloading it from their server, it would be best to think of it as a rumor. Anything else is setting yourself up for extreme anger and disappointment.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Unless standards with microsoft have changed, they're only allowed 3 patches total, so I expect it'll be at least 2-3 months before we see another to assure most issues are 100% corrected.
It'll likely come, however after most of us have moved on to other games.
As a longtime fan of the series this is easily the worst year in series since I've been playing from '03. Far too many issues and failed patching. I already stopped buying Madden this year (after 11 years of consecutive purchases), and I think this will be the last year I pickup NCAA until they prove they can come out with more solid releases.Comment

I think there will be a 3rd one at some point, I just wouldn't hold my breath for it anytime soon. We may see another tuning pack though. Not sure what broke the no huddle & a few other oddities with the last update (patch or tuner), but if a tuner will fix them, that would be nice.Comment

We need a tuner to fix Def players standing still during the option. We need a tuner to fix the broken no huddle that worked great before the patch. We need a tuner to fix the tendecy bug that STILL exists after the 2nd patch.
We need that tuner and we need it like this coming Monday. I'm at the end of my rope this is insane. No more excuses.Comment

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

#1 their only allowed 2 FREE patches. if they put out a 3rd patch they'll have to pay both Microsoft and Sony
#2 EASports staff keeps saying that they are aware of more problems and are looking into it.
Why look into it if their not going to put out a 3rd patch...unless its just to fix it for NCAA13 which people including myself are probably debating on buying it at this point now.
It's important to know though that they did put out a 3rd patch last year. Unfortunately that 3rd patch went out on September 7th.
maybe they'll have a deal next year where NCAA13 will cost $29.99 if you turn in a copy of NCAA12Comment
