Even with the ridiculously short single quarter, i can see the refinements made to this game. It's a better 2k11, and that's saying a lot.

Of course, i can't wait to play it my way (HOF/Sim, 2k cam, 12 minute quarters, and with a team not named the Mavs or Heat, among other things).

Man it's gonna be a long couple of weeks...

just played a couple of games and all i can say is wow. they nailed Dirk down to the fullest. loving how smooth the game is. also loving the new post game. oct.4 cant get here quick enough

i hate that u cant switch teams...very frustrating. This is the most stripped down demo from them ever. You literrally cant do anything but press start and play with the mavs...thats it lol.

Wade and Chalmers are killing me. Chalmers had absolutely no hesitation when I gave him an open shot. He drilled 2 threes on me until I wised up, then after that he dished it to Wade who then proceeded to get 2 straight fouls on me by driving, then pumpfaking (Which I bit on like an idiot). The only reason the game wasn't a blow out was because I hit a 3 with Butler and Rudy, made a midrange with Dirk while also drilling a step in 3pointer with Dirk afterward when Lebron missed and we pushed the tempo. Managed to win by 1. The funny thing i saw was that Bosh was non-existant. Perfect

Now that I've downloaded the demo, I'm going to cheat while looking at the control screenshots now so I know what I'm doing in the post

Very impressed and this is just the demo..the real think can only get better...

I'm at the mind set of what else can they really add for 2k13 forget the thought of 2k11(which was a master peice) ..its mind blowing when they have the essence of basketball harnessed in there studio this well...these guys know there basketball...BRILLIANT

what's next, I mean really..celebrities in the crowd because they damn near perfected the on court aspect just minor tweaks here and there....

The demo was so good I forgot that there was no commentary or any type of audio

I can only imagine the gameplay with the audio + Kerr and Harlan tag teaming

I also love how when you are playing defense, your defender can shade the offensive player to drive the lane to the basket that YOU want him to. #goaheadandmeetChandler

Collision detection and live ball physics impacts this game greatly. Lebron tried a spin dunk, but lost the ball. If you're in a crowd and you get careless you might lose the ball. I tried some behind the back dribbles and lost possession. I did a spin move on the baseline with Rudy and went out of bounds.

If you're going to hopstep this year, it's going to take more skill. The margin for error is much greater.

CPU play and movement is much better. I dont know what Lebron is going to do. He has me guessing.

Post game is quicker and more fluid. Up and Unders are easier to execute, yet you have to hold the RS longer in the other direction or you'll just get the fake.
