The more I think I about this the more I can't believe it. Every option for offline needs to be online, or how about we screw the offline players for once...... every time I read a post that says "Eh, I'm a offline player I don't care" it makes me sick. Selfish jokers, are part of what's wrong with the world.

Everyone in essence is an "off-line" player. So...you'd only be screwing yourself over...

Not only that, but they'd be ignoring a large portion of thier sales if they neglected offline. Sure, maybe 45,000 get online every day, so we can safely assume (or not, but for the sake of discussion let's do that) that's the amount of people that have Xbox Live Gold that play this game.

They'd be ignoring or shafting the other 4.55 million of their other customers. No company would even think of shafting the majority of thier fans (Unless said company is EA...but that's for another thread/discussion) like that. It's simply not feasible. I can understand how you can be upset, but in this way EVERYONE at least has acess to the legend teams (Expect for those that didn't pre-order to get the other 2 teams). You just can't use them online...

This has got to be something about their capacity for what can be held on their servers or something. It just doesn't make sense otherwise. Their is a huge empathizes in every other game that comes out on its online features... you poor this money into legends and then not have that part of online? Online is possibly 50% of their consumers time spent using their product.

it's absolutely ******** for them to waste so much time and energy on the legends when we can't use them online.

i'm both an offline and online user, but once i unlock the legends no way in hell i will want to play against the computers again using them.

I'm thinking they might be able to be used in an online association? If we're unable to play with them,its not a deal breaker...to some it is....not judging anyone, just saying.

Not going to lie and say it's a deal-breaker. There's plenty of other reasons to be excited. But the reality is the great majority of the excitement over this year's game is the legend teams...to find out they won't even be available in 99% of the games I play, is more than a little disappointing. And why?....

Been waiting patiently for a response.

The alleged word is there will be an insight coming later this week...it's Thursday and we haven't heard anything yet besides they aren't available. I noticed that the guy involved in the conference call on the 26th can't ask questions about online....so I assume that means they don't plan on addressing this issue until after then (if ever).

For those of you defending 2K, assuming it's a technical issue, that's fine...we just want to know. If it were a real technical issue, why not just say it? Avoiding the issue just makes it look like there is no technical limitation holding them back.

Last year I got strung along...waiting through the Insights until the Online Insight came along....then next thing we know, the game is out, and they apologize for not having time to do an online insight. When the game was released...there were zero improvements to online...if anything, it was worse. This year feels awfully similar...I get to read about how they took all the fan feedback and implemented it into the game...all the feedback except anything to do with online, that is.

If the can't do it...let us know why. Everything I know about Unreal and game production screams that they CAN do it; it's a matter of WON'T.

Thanks for the heads up about this! I upgraded to 2k11 primarily because of the new Legend teams & because of Jordan. In ranked team up games we got to at least play with some of the Legend teams online in 2k11. I thought for sure with all the time and effort 2k put into all of the Legend teams for 2k12 that for sure they would let us use them online this year even more. What a huge disappointment! The game looks great with all the improvements to the overall gameplay, but it looks like they have dropped the ball on the online play again. I'm gonna cancel my pre-order of the game & wait till next year.

SWEET! Waited all week for some type of response to this (as the devs and many of you have claimed is coming) only to find an Audio Insight today...with a nice little mention that Presentation Insight was next (with date TBD). Still no word on online. We've waited 2 years for any hint that they've improved online in any way...but even when bad news breaks, they don't respond. I guess if they ignore us, we'll go away. I'm about to...this is the game I'm most excited for by far, but there's a TON of great games coming out in the next month...and none of them disrespect their online players like 2K has over the last 7 years.
