The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
This demo feels no different than 2K11. Player movement/control is still unresponsive/sluggish and not very fluid. Too much player sliding and the animations were not that impressive yet again (at least with this demo build).
I'm glad that some of you are enjoying the demo but to me I have not seen any significant improvement to justify dishing out another $65 for essentially just a roster update (but not really since rosters will probably NOT be updated due to the cancellation of the 2011-2012 NBA season).
To each their own...but I'm most likely will be sticking to NBA Live 10 yet again.
I stopped reading after "not very fluid".....pure hilarity

The game looks and feels much better then 2k11 but the only thing i really dislike is the push ball ahead of yourself animation. It just doesn't feel or look realistic.

Demo is great, but does anyone know how to do the Step Back jumper? It was my signature shot with Deron Williams. Maybe Jason Kidd is incapable of executing it because he is old lol
Re: NBA 2K12 Demo Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)
When will 2K ever change the crowd or guys behind scorer's table? They look horrible and the same for 3 straight years! The overall graphics have not improved at all. Maybe its time for a new system to come out with better graphic capabilities.
i've already deleted it...seen enough to whet my appetite, but don't really get much out of playing a VERY small sample of this game (that allows no real adjustments or ability to search things out). this game is solid, but no doubt we'll find some flaws as we go. i guess i'm in the minority and feel that 2k11 plays really, really well, and with the slider tweaks a number of the issues can be fixed (to a certain degree). nba 2k11 is still the greatest sports title i've played...
minority? dont let these new users fool you, the majority of the community loved 2k11 right there with you...and its looking like 2k12 is shaping up to be just as good...you know how it is this time of year...people creating accounts to troll etc.
Re: NBA 2K12 Demo Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)
I like how much more physical the game is, when players go the hole they get bumped and their shot changes, u can bump players crossing the lane, front them, deny ball. The game is just more realistic this year.
Players lack emotion in the face, I hope it is not like this in the real game.
