One of the little annoyances I have with the NBA 2K games is how much louder they are than standard levels. It's crazy. I keep my tv volume at around 20 for other games and shows, but have to drop it to like 4 when I play 2K.

I tried dropping all the levels equally in the 2K11 audio settings and that worked but resulted in harsh audio pops after baskets for some reason.

I just hope that 70% of commentary phrases don't vanish when you're in your second/third/etc seasons in Association like before.

aaauughh....i know what you mean! I have no idea on how to fix this and I have the same issue on the PC when watching youtube.

Yehh it's crazy how much louder it is. I almost have to half whatever my volume is before I play 2k for it to be at a good level. I suppose I could just lower all the music/sound settings until it sounds right but have never been stuffed to do it. Just weird though how it has always been much louder than anything else

I hope they let us select that vintage audio even for regular, modern-day games. I like it too much.

I know they mentioned how during close games, the crowd will get more into the game, and the commentary will be more enthusiastic...but what about during a blowout? Will the commentators talk about things that have nothing to do with basketball? Apparently, this was in 2K11 (according to people on this board), but they usually only said the same thing (about the hotel accommodations...even when the game was still in the balance), which makes me think it wasn't necessarily regulated to blowouts.

meh...... not as good as madden's audio and commentary but at least they're trying to improve it.

Best joke i've heard for quite some time. You're kidding us, right? If one should pick a sports game with annoying, repetitive, unrealistically sounding and boring commentary, it's Madden!

Audio insight is cool and all, but I cant help noticing how friggin realistic that pic of Garnett and Blatche is.

very happy with the compilation of that insight.....well put together with samples of the audio to help paint a picture of what he is talking about and what to expect come in the retail version

The only thing that may become annoying is Clark Kellogg saying "I mean...". From what I heard he says it lot. And I mean A LOT!
